Where is my Marriage License ....
Hey Everyone:
DH and I were married on 9/29. (yay!) I want to sign up for his insurance but I do not have the marriage license back. I remember that after our ceremony, the priest gave us back our documents but the marriage license was not included. (We all signed it the night before at the rehearsal.)
What happens with it after you get married. Does the priest mail to City Hall and then they mail it to you? If so, how long does that take? If not, should the priest have given it back to me? ? Thanks.

I just found Helen Z's post on the same subject. Seems like it takes about a month and the priest should have mailed it in for us. Thanks everyone.
