Many animal charities. I feel as if they get ignored. I am such a huge animal lover and they truly need the support.

Susan G. Komen-- got involved in college, it was our philanthropy in my sorority & it became close to me. I've had a few friends at this point who have lost their Mothers/Grandmothers to it.
The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (Light the Night)- My best friends Father is currently beating non-hodgkins lymphoma cancer my other best friends father passed away from lymphoma and her Mom beat it about a year ago. My friend has a huge team in DC...she started it last year and this year her goal is to raise 10k. Since I'm in NY I made a 'joes' army in NY' team since I couldn't make it to MD for it.
American Cancer Society-- My papa died from lung cancer. This is where our wedding donations went towards.
March for Babies-- Just started this year due to my friend loosing her baby.
Lupus Foundation-- donate clothes every year instead of just dropping it off in one of those random bins.
I love charity....i'm a sucker for donating and I LOVE doing the walks.
If anyone cares to see, my friend made a video of our Light the Night Walks (it's touching and I love watching it)
DH's mother died of cancer and was very supportive of this charity. we'll continue supporting it in her memory

When I was a police officer on patrol, I mde it my business to arrest anyone who commited cruelty against animals. I think it is despicable that any human would abuse or batter an animal of any kind. I frequently donate to:
ASPCA Humane Society of the United States American Humane Society Animal Haven Noah's Wish
I also donate and raise money for these great causes: Various Breast Cancer Charities National MS Society American Diabetes Association

Autism Speaks. I became involved with them after my nephew was diagnosed with autism and my niece was diagnosed with PPD.
I support and walk for Autism Speaks as well. I am a teacher of children with autism and we actually made a donation to them for our favors.
