married/couple friends, or single friends.

now i have more married/coupled friends.

it looks like i hang out with my single friends more. a lot of married/coupled friends kinda do their own thing w/ their significant others so i find that i'm going out w/ the singles which is fun

Our BFF's are engaged, and some other very good friends are engaged...

Otherwise, all singles! And no marred couples yet besides us

I would have to say about 50/50. one group of my friends are all coupled up, most of them in serious relationships. Another group of my friends are single ladies.

Only have one other friend who is married. one engaged and a few very close to engagement

I have more single friends, DH has more married friends. I think we see them all equally.

Married friends. We are already in our 30s and were basically the last of our friends to get married.

I can count my single friends on one hand!

ETA we see our married friends more than our single friends. It seems my single friends are still in a bit of party mode.

most of our friends are single. We only have one married couple we;re close with who we see a lot.

I have more married/engaged/couple friends than I do single friends anymore. Reason being is because my single friends are still in that 'lets go out and drink every night till we can't see straight' stage in their lives, and I'm past that.

Over the weekend I went out with said group, and they pulled an intervention on me. No joke. I had to sit there and be told that I have nothing in common with these girls anymore. They all agreed that I think I'm too good for them because I don't spend more time at the clubs with them, and that if things don't change, then they see no point in remaining friends with me.

I tried explaining that we aren't on the same stage in life anymore. I'm thinking about babies and houses, while they're thinking about which club to go to this weekend, and that blew up in my face. We were supposed to go out for my belated birthday dinner, and this happened.

Sorry, this was more of a vent than anything. I'm just done with these girls. And its sad, I've known them my whole life.

Most of my friends are single. I go out with them alone most of the time, because they're my girl friends since I was little.

Other than that, we spend a lot of time with my brother and sister and their SO's and children. I'm so close to them, and we're all best friends.

wow! really?? to be honest, i would say that these people really aren't your friends then. Friends do more than just go out and party and drink together. I think they've shown their true colors to you. You ARE better than them!

Some people just don't understand. If they were truly your friends they would be happy for you. Sorry you had to go through that.

Woah! So glad I never had to go through that! I would be so hurt! Unfortunately friendships change and evolve. It's obvious these girls aren't ready for changes to happen yet! I say let it go and maybe one day they will realize that they are the ones who are wrong!

ITA. Friendship is more than getting wasted together!!! I had answered previously that I see my single friends more. Reason being is THEY make more of an effort to see me than my coupled friends who always have their own weekend plans already etc. And even before I was pregnant, if we got togehter to catch up, it was with dinner and a few drinks, or brunch, etc. Rarely going out all night because like you, I'm past that stage as well.

Sorry they did that, I think that is so stupid and an eye opener that you have matured and they have not. it's sad but it happens as we get older.

I think all of our friends now are married/coupled. And the single ones just sort of go on their own way.
