Which would you get DH for your first Christmas?

Which would you get DH for your first Christmas?

DH and I set a limit of $500 for Christmas this year. We never spend this much, but since its our first Christmas we figured we can splurge a little.

I want to get him something he'll have forever, so I was looking at watches.

There is a nice Burberry watch at Macy's for 395 or a Hugo Boss one for 235.

He also REALLY wants a GPS since he commutes to Jersey everyday and we take a lot of road trips.

There is the Garmin 760 and the Garmin 265WT. that I think he would like. The 265 comes with lifetime traffic updates (but there are pop ups). The 760 has a lot more features though. They both are around 250.

Here's the dilemma, I either get the Burberry and a GPS and go about 150 over the budget, or get the Hugo Boss watch and the GPS and stay within the budget? Which would you get? And which GPS?

Hmmm tough one, well for me it would be tough only bc Dh LOOOVES Burberry and he is great with directions and doesnt need a gps bc he also has one on his iphone. But in your situation if he would like either watch, i would say get the Hugo watch and the gps

Sorry to crash but I believe Bloomingdales is having the private sale until this weekend you could probably be able to save $100 on the burberry watch. I just received the coupons this week in the mail. It usually good for Burberry Brand. I bought FH a Burberry shirt in their last sail with the coupon

I do really like the Burberry watch. And he really wants the GPS... thats why I'm so confused!

I dont know about the Hugo Boss watch- I dont know how their quality is- what about a Bulova? Here is one on Macys.com & you could still get the GPS if you wanted

Thanks... That one is nice, but he has a Bulova watch that I bought him for our first Anniversary and it give him a lot of problems. Thats why I wanted to get him one with better quality

oh dh has had his bulova for almost 10 years- what about seiko or citizen? they're both really good brands

i was gonna suggest seiko also. they have really nice watches now, and many are around $250. i bought DH a seiko two years ago, and he loves it, he's never had any problems with it.

i say if he really wants a GPS, you should def get him one. if you have your heart set on getting the burberry watch, maybe you can find a GPS that's less $$.

LOL yeah i just looked it up too and saw Woodbury has it, i looked up tanger outlets in Riverhead and they didnt have it though. I am curious if they would ship it to you lol, would an outlet do that? like if you called up to ask if they have it and then asked if they can ship it to you?
