Re: Which would you prefer? Party or trip?

Now I am really confused
I am now thinking of Lisa's idea...small party at home and a trip! Decisions Decisions

Oh and I wish I was rich enough to do both!!!!

Re: Which would you prefer? Party or trip?

I think having a 30th b-day party is very special but if your husband doesn't like parties much then a vacation would be a great idea too. Can you do a smaller party at the house and a long weekend trip? Maybe a combo gift?

Re: Which would you prefer? Party or trip?

I think the trip would be nicer for the money.

But you could still do a trip and have a party -- just do something small. I did this for my DH this year as a suprise at his favorite bar. I was able to get trays of food from the bar (they have a party menu) and we just munched on some food and had a few drinks and just had fun with our friends.

Just an idea.

Good Luck!

Re: Which would you prefer? Party or trip?

I gave my DH a surprise 30th birthday party invited about 25-30 people, cooked a nice meal and we had so much fun. He still talks about it alomst 2 years later. He really enjoyed being around his closest friends and his family.

So to answer your question I would say- Party.

Another lady on here suggested a combo party/weekend trip- that would be cool.
