Read these posts and don't comment. . I mean sure every now and then I click on something and don't feel like I have something to say/add but some posts have like 250 views and 8 responses so who are all the people looking and saying nothing. .
just wondering bc what I love about this is chatting back and forth not just lurking. .
and I am SOO not trying to start drama so don't get offended if that's you. . I'm really JUST wondering!

Sometimes I'll read a post and not have something to say... Then I'll read back responses on comments... Or I'll just read back responses on topics that interest me, even if I dont have any 2 cents to put in...

i also think a lot of people read the NW boards but feel like they can't post (like 2010-2012 brides). I know before I was married I would always read these boards but felt like they were off limits to actually post on since they used to have that thread on the top about how it was only for newlyweds.
Yup, I was going to say this too.
I also think that is a reason the numbers are up.
I know some of the main reasons I don't always post are, 1. WHat I was thinking was already said a few times, and , 2. 'If you have nothing nice to say , don't say anything at all'

A lot of threads lately have been about GTGs that I have no plans to attend, or other topics I just don't have anything to contribute to, so I don't. I'm on LIW every week day, just there haven't been many things for me to contribute to.
ita, i read a lot but most of the things i can't contribute too

Re: Who are all the people who. . .
I try really hard to respond to as many posts as I can....even the ones that don't really apply ---I'll add my own opinion or stance......
For example there was a 'what are you making for dinner thread' and as everyone knows I don't cook but shared my plans to buy food out anyway.

Me too. Sadly I don't have much free time to be able to respond to posts.
It's nice to see the friendships that have formed and grown though.

I am guilty of this I read most of the posts, but don't really respond...you never know who's lurking.
The funny thing is that I feel like I know you girls, but when I read about the gtgs, part of me would love to attend, but I'd be the stranger since I'm a 'lurker.' LOL
Hope nobody thinks us 'lurkers' are crazy. You girls have really calmed me down at times with your experiences with your DHs which are totally similar to mine! I can always relate!!
You girls all rock!!!

Haha, I keep reading this to see what people say even though I already posted and then I laugh because everytime I do that I make the number of views go up. I am part of the problem.

I read lots of stuff, but I only comment if I have something to add. If I'm not saying anything original or I'm not dying to say something I don't. And then there's the case where I can't add anything to the conversation at all because I don't have experience with the issue at hand. But I do try to respond!

Same for me!!!
My coworker sits right behind me, so if she turns around she'll see me on here-so I have very little privacy.. During the week day if you ever see me posting it's because she's not around!! LOL

Well now I have TONS of answers and kind of feel like . well duh that all makes sense. . esp when you look at the thread ten times to see how everyone responded. . and I guess even if just ten people respond and all look back once - you're right that's essentially 100 posts already. .

Re: Who are all the people who. . .
I feel like I am too lazy to post. I like to read and I always have something to say, but my typing grammar and punctuation are just not up to par anymore. It's terrible to say that I can't hardly make a complete sentence on an online forum, or Facebook. I'm just plain embarrassed. I also think that not being able (or wanting to) make a complete sentence makes me look uneducated, which I am most certainly not.
