Who has their wedding album layout in a photo album on here?

I got my first version of our album layout a couple days ago and I'm about to send feedback back to our photog, but first i just wanted to peak at some others to get other ideas.

i feel bad having so many suggestions for ways to adjust it. i wish i wasn't so obsessed with visual order and balance! did you guys send back alot of suggestions or leave it pretty much as is?

NM i guess. I did some searching and found Tara's and Rosella's and some others that were super helpful.

Just sent my photog my suggestions for changes, and I feel kinda bad. I know that sounds silly, but I had a comment for almost every page! And to anyone else, like my sisters who saw the layouts, they were like 'its perfect, id leave it as is!'

Actually, I spent many many hours picking pictures and laying mine out only to hear my photog tell me that they weren't really in an order she would have put them in. So I let her put it together and I absolutely LOVED it. My proof pages are in my ALBUM . I put them in my album in order but for some reason they aren't that way.... but you can get the idea.

you're not alone! i had to send my photographer an attachment of tara's album because that was the look i was going for. jenn also has few in her albums. sorry i dont have one for you to look at... its going through the same processes yours is probably going through!

I'm the same way. My photographer knows how particular I am so he just showed me the options so I can lay it out the way I wanted & told me to let him know when I'm ready.
He would have done it for me but I'm sure it wouldn't have been how I was picturing it in my head.
I finally decided on the pictures I'm going to use I just have to finish the layout.

i just got mine last week so far i sent back like 5 suggestions and i have a ton more for him, luckily he is very nice and told me to keep on sending them

Jess is it digital or matted?

Most photographers will be easy going and work on it till you're satisfied but I will say be careful not to micromanage too much and if they tell you they did something for a specific reason because it doesn't 'go' any other way, try to keep that in mind. Sometimes we LOVE pics but it just won't flow unless its styled a certain way if that makes sense. Or we like layouts others have but they just do not work with our pics.

There were a few layouts I wanted to do for ours based on ons I loved but unfrotunately they do not work with our pics so I needed to adapt them. Some tweaking but they look just as good.

I'm sure your suggestions are great though and you need to post it when you get it back!

Jess, I was such a PITA about my album...I was constantly making changes. Thanks to Jenn (peteysbride) - she helped me get it right. I have one in my album- check it out!

i sent back alot of little things- just switching one pic for another or moving one to another page, etc. she really didn't seem to mind. i really just want to be happy with it. i think we all deserve to be happy with our wedding albums that we'll have to remember the day forever. and she did an AWESOME job on the whole!!! its just alot of small changes about stuff im obsessive over.

Jess, it looks gorgeous! Never feel bad for making changes- it's your money and your album, you should be 1000000% happy with it!

These look awesome. She did a really nice job. This is MArianne right? Whoever did it has a really artistic eye. Teyr eally used your goprgeous pics to their best advantage. So far yours is the ebst album layout I've seen

thx for the input, guys. i really love these pages, so the adjustments to the others are just to try to achieve this same feel. she does a really great job!! im just nit-picking (sp?) bc i want to be satisfied with the whole thing. ill be so excited when i have it in hand!

Jess, we received our first album proof in February. We just made our 7th change! Don't feel bad-you have this for life, so definitely be happy with it! I have to say again though-you have such incredible pictures! You looked gorgeous, and Mariann is a genius!
