long story short--DH and i are DONE with our place and need to find a new one soon. our landlord is nice--but i can't take the plumbing issues anymore.
i totally hate looking for an apartment--cause i feel like you have to decipher the classifieds and the complexes are either in crack areas or waaaaay too much money.
why can't i be rich and just buy a freaking house? grrrrrrr
if anyone knows of any places in the western suffolk/eastern nassau area. preferably towns like bay shore, islip, babylon, lindenhurst, massapequa, farmingdale, melville, etc. please post here or FM me!!!

Try the Fairfield apartments, most of them include heat and hot water.

haha---i was mostly venting and hoping for a miracle. you know how i HATE tards that post about searching for shiiiiiit w/o researching.
i have like 4 windows open right now searching apts. its unreal how expensive shiiit is in long island these days.
how are the fairfield properties---i saw a post on LIF and people were saying to run from fairfield cause of issues with getting deposits back and stuff?

In late Sept early Oct we should have our apt available. 2 Bedroom, Full Lvng rm, Full kitchen and bath , patio/deck ,NO pets (cats o.k), No smoking. suffolk - Enorthport/Northport region.

no clue, Ive been here for almost 2 years...never had a problem. We made nice nice withe super from go-if something breaks its fixed within 24 hours, etc. I guess it depends which one it is

la bon vie (prob spelling it wrong) in patchogue/medford area off hospital rd. are really nice i dont know about $$ thought. but i have 2 cousins that live there one in a 1 bedroom (never seen that one) and one in a 2 bedroom .. that one is HuGE it has a large kitchen, dinning room, 2 good size bedrooms bathroom and living room! its really nice!!
also check Sublet.com theres some good stuff on there!

haha craigslist isn't panning out the last few days--the apts. there are RIDICLIOUSLY overpriced right now for some reason. guess cause its summer? i dunno.

We live in the Fairhaven Garden Apartments and it is pretty nice. Gate access, laundry rooms and I think that heat & water are included. Here is the link: http://www.fairhavenapts.com/
I can also check with my sister inlaw to see if the apartment in her house is available, she is in Huntington.

In Long Beach there are a tonnnnnnn of rental buildings. And I know of three that are no realtor fee. I think they start at like $1200ish...maybe less for studios- Im not sure.
Executive Towers at Lido (google for website) The Crystal house (google for website) and Casablanca (has a website but its harder to find on google and I dunno what it is...but when you drive by it, it is posted on the building)
