why am i watching this?

i was channel surfing and saw MTV's 'True Life: I'm a Newlywed.'



One of the couples were talking about finances and the wife had no clue that her new husband owed $5,000 on his credit card. If I didn't have a fair warning about any sort of debt, I think I would have been very unhappy.

The other couple waited until their wedding night to have their first kiss!

...I didn't even last until the end of my first date with DH to kiss him .

wow, that's crazy! what if you have the physical chemistry and everything, but the kissing is awful!?!?

as a side note: i once broke up with a guy who was really great, except he was the absolute worst kisser ever (i still shudder just thinking about those awful kisses!)

Of course it was- no practice!! Weird!!!

I've totally done the same thing Mor- I think that's pretty important!! I mean you can train but only up to a certain point!

can you imagine if we were 'saving' ourselves for each other with kisses, and then got THAT on the wedding day



at least that couple doesn't really know what they're missing since (i'm assuming) they have nothing to compare to

i saw that one too. that couple with the girl with the credit card debt seemed like they had never met before they got married. i felt like they knew nothing about each other.
