I honestly don't think so ... my first inclination was to shout ... ABSOLUTELY NOT.

But I don't know how I would feel with kids ... I probably still wouldn't be able to forgive and trust him again ... ! It would make me sick, to be honest!

I don't know how I would feel with kids. I know presently I am thinking he better not confess to me in the kitchen for I may burn his behind.

I don't think I would forgive my hubby. In our relationship I am more the sexaholic than he is and that would really bother me that he went out and had sex with someone else.

I started this post and I'm just at a loss for words.

Same as Cira, I want to say Hell No, but it's so hard to really speculate, imagine years of marriage, a children...but, the marriage would be destoryed anyways, I probably couldn't get over that, even if I did take him back, the marriage would probably end shortly anyways.

I would *want* to forgive him...but I don't know if I could. It would really depend on the circumstances - where we were in the relationship, how I found out, etc. I would be devestated, I'm sure.

I think it depends for certain people. Sometimes people need that assurance, some people can look the other way.

Some women are afraid because of finances.

Although we DONT know what the future holds, as many of you said, its nice to know what for the time being our men have their heads on straight.

I actually have a good friend who has been married for over 10 years, and they have an open marriage...they can have sex with other people, as long as it's not a relationship.

To this day, I am stunned....it works for them, but I am just stunned.

Also, they don't want to know each other's flings.

My first inclination is to kick him out of the house and say forget it. But this is easier said than done. I would say that I would never trust him again and that alone would probably destroy the marriage. I don't know if having kids would make the situation different. I don't know if I want to subject my kids to the tension that would inevitably arise from the situation.

A big NO on this one. I honestly do not think I could ever trust him again, I would be wondering every time he left the house, came home late, or didn't call. I think you would end up driving yourself nuts worrying about it. Even with kids, I would still say no. Kids should grow up in a house with love, respect, and communication not cheating and deceit with no trust.

No, they just do their own private things with differnet people.

Maybe I've got the def. of swingers wrong, but isn't that like finding another couple and switching partners?

my first inclination is to say HELL NO. But I've seen marriages get past infidelity and grow stronger for it.
