I would just like to add to my previous post that you probably don't really know how you will react until and unless you are in that situation. It is far more complicated than you could ever imagine. I always said no way too, until it happened to me.

NO. I could never trust him again and If I couldn't trust him I could never truly be happy. No one is worth that, no matter how much you love them.

This may only be my opinion but NEVER! I cannot even imagine being able to forgive this. Although it was only my bf at the time...he had a one night stand and I wanted to forgive him and make it work but when it came down to it..just like someone else said...no matter how hard I tried..I could not trust him ever again. At every turn I was doubting him and things he told me and it made for a horrible relationship which left me feeling horrible all the time!

Its a trust issue...everything is based on trust in my opinion..and if there is no trust or even lack thereof..then it will not work. So, no..I would NEVER forgive!

ABSOLUTELY NOT! And it works both ways - he would be gone if I cheated and I would be gone if he did.

But like Wendy said, who knows what I would actually do if confronted with the situation.

Forgiving and moving past it are 2 different things for me. I could move past it. I know that. 100%. There would be a part of me that would know I could never forgive it. And that is different. I would choose to try to overcome it in my relationship specifically.

I can only hope we wouldn't come to that. It means there are more problems than just 'a one night stand' or touching another woman. Unfortunately it means the problems run deeper than just the physical.

JMO. I would want us to move past it. Together.

I wouldn't forgive him. There have to be some things that you won't accept in a relationship and that is one of the big ones for me. I deserve better. Kids, finances & all the rest wouldn't matter.

I would have to say no!! I would NEVER forgive!!! It would totally break my heart & all trust. I don't think I could even look at him again! It would sicken me that he would cheat on me & our child/children.
