hey - at least the invites won't be xeroxed copied brochures folder and sealed with a label...(ie my shower invites!!)

Very true about the invites! If they are anything like the santa cards you made - they will be spectacular! I couldn't even mail that to anyone since it was so nice

I didn't hear about your shower. What happened?

Is it her taste you don't like. You can always just suggest things to her and see what she says. Kind of lead her in the right direction.

well besides not thinking about my style or taste...the biggest problem (and only thing I get upset about really) was that she didn't invite one of my BMs (who I have been friends with since jr high) - she says she did...but my friend who is the sweetest thing in the world never got it...my sister never called to collaborate...talk about a date...nothing...or to see if she was coming...(I found out a week before the shower and my BM was going out of town and was really upset)

when I found that out...I also found out that my sister never got in touch with my roommate who was another BM (they don't like each other...so they never called the other one)


it was a huge fiasco...and I was really upset that day....




but I think I am in more shock that my dad wants to plan for MAY??!!! the first weekend!!!

does your sister LIKE planning? From what I've heard of your shower, it sounds like she doesn't. Maybe you can slyly take over...

Good Luck! I think you have plenty of time to plan for a May party.

I know the feeling on the shower. I had bridesmaids all over and one in MD decided to throw me a shower there. Lets just say me and my friends ended up in Cheese Cake Factory the day of without her.


Are you thinking May is too close? I want to do something for my mother this year for her birthday in March. I just don't want to start planning though until I get a job and I can say I am using extra money to put it together.

You might be able to get a better last minute, why don't you just tell your sister you will do it, since she is busy with work, make up something, you would do a much better job.

well, if your not in charge, you cant be blamed for any mishaps!
