So...
FH and I still debating...
I DO WANT IT (I dont need it) But I want Uplight now...

We got quoted $600 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! For everything!!!!

Now I am debating...
Should I?? or Should I not???

Should we get the $600 or use them towards something elsE?????

At first I have said I dont want it but now im changing my mind...

HELP MEEE
WHAT DO I DO???

TO My lovely Newlyweds Who got Uplighting...

IS IT WORTH IT TO GET IT??? OR SHOULD I JUST SAVE THE $600 & USE IT TOWARDS SOMETHING ELSE?!!!

I DO WANT IT... and We are not concern of the $600 Thank God we can afford it but I just qwant to make sure I am doing the right decision...

I honestly can't imagine my wedding without uplights. I feel like they made the room SO MUCH prettier.

not a huge fan of uplighting.... at TWOTY 2010 it was kind of annoying actually...

I would wait on the uplighting. You can still do it in Sept, never know what else will come up.

I like my Venue... but I think it needs soemthing...
My RH is NOTHING companre to many of the RH in here...

Needing and wanting - 2 separate things. Don't forget that you will have CP's on the tables and whatnot and it will be individual to your day. Do what your gut tells you to do.

CP is only couple of flowers...
nothing big.. no sparkling... no crystals...
But my 'gut' tells me save the money & get it at the same time lol

Go with your gut and save the money to use towards something else. I doubt you'll even notice the uplighting on the day of.

Uplighting was something that I was set on from day 1 so for me it was a 'necessity'.

But Im scared that I will be 'well it was great but it wasnt worth it to get it'

janis is biased because of all the weddings i've been to, hers is the only one where i noticed uplighting. it looked amazing.

i'd probably say dont do it. i dont think we're helping sway you one way or another, heh

haha. actually i am biased b/c i am one of those people that NOTICE uplighting. i am always amazed, in general, how lighting can transform a room/space. the first time i saw uplighting was in 2006 and i fell in love. so it was a requirement for me. lol

chica - if there is even a chance that you are going to look at pictures (which im sure you are spending $$ on) and say, damn, i wish we got the uplighting. just do it!
