DO ITTTT
janis is biased because of all the weddings i've been to, hers is the only one where i noticed uplighting. it looked amazing.
i'd probably say dont do it. i dont think we're helping sway you one way or another, heh
haha. actually i am biased b/c i am one of those people that NOTICE uplighting. i am always amazed, in general, how lighting can transform a room/space. the first time i saw uplighting was in 2006 and i fell in love. so it was a requirement for me. lol
chica - if there is even a chance that you are going to look at pictures (which im sure you are spending $$ on) and say, damn, i wish we got the uplighting. just do it!
Yep...
That is Me!
I will always WONDER 'WHAT IF I GOT THE UPLIGHTING? This pic could look better'

Uplighting was something that I was set on from day 1 so for me it was a 'necessity'.
so was it WORTH it to do it???
Bc that is what I am scared of...
I SO want it NOW!!!!
But Im scared that I will be 'well it was great but it wasnt worth it to get it'
Was it worth it. Imo yes. For me it was.
But I notice everything about formal catered events from flowers, invites to where the DJ eats, where the kitchen entrance to the room is etc.
Do I think every wedding HAS to have it? Of course not. It really depends on what type of feel your trying to get from your wedding but I think all affairs can be enhanced from uplighting (unless it's a day wedding with tons of windows. In that case it's a waste of $ imo).

I didn't know what uplighting was until AFTER the wedding hahaaaaaI didn't spend as much time as I would have liked to on here during the planning process and it never ever came up! I didn't miss it one bit. After looking at so many wedding pictures it is now something I really like...sometimes! It can totally transform a room. Do you think it will really elevate the look and feel of your RH to better meet the picture you have in your head? If so, DO IT!
