I'm trying to upload my wedding video on You Tube but I'm not sure if it's working. Am I suppose to see a progress bar? It hasn't changed in like 1/2 hour. The video is about 700MB.
Can you recommend another site to upload videos?

Youtube.com has a time limit as well as a size limit.
Google Video is a lot better. They have a Google Video Uploader and it's pretty fast.

what type of file is it? look at the type of files that you can upload to youtube and see what type of file your video is, might not be a file that youtube supports. That happened to my video, and i had to convert the video first before i was able to upload it to youtube.

The max lenght of a You Tube video is 10 mins. My video is only 3 mins. The max file size for a video on You Tube is 1G and I'm only at 700MB so I don't know why it's not loading.

You might be right about this. My file is an AVI. You Tube doesn't really say what video types they support. They only tell you what's recommended. I thought AVI was pretty common that's why I converted it to an avi.

I just checked out google video. I have to create an account when I get home tonight. It looks like all the google videos are linked to YouTube.com. Didn't they merge? or got bought out?
