Your MOH

What made you choose your MOH over the rest of your BM's?

I had 5 bridesmaids. 4 of them were my best friends from college and the 5th was a long time friend of mine. I didn't feel right picking one of my college buddies over another so I picked my friend from home.

my MOH was my 1st cousin and i love her to death.
all my other bridesmaid were very close friends two were my childhood friends one was a great and close work friend and one was DH best friends wife who i became close with one was DH girl best friend who he has known for forever and my junior BM was my cousin

I picked my sister as my MOH. Even though she was a bit of a pain at times, I think that this made us closer.

i have two younger sisters so we decided to do a 'round robin,' so the middle sister was my MOH, my youngest sister will be her MOH, and i will be my youngest sister's MOH. she was an amazing MOH - and it worked out well because my mom was there to help.

I picked my one and only sister!! She is my favorite person in the whole wold!!! She's my sister, best friend, and soul mate!!

I have 3 sisters, I am the youngest so we had it planned that I was the MOH for my oldest sister and she was mine and my other sisters would be MOH for each other. I then had 3 friends that were my BF's since we were about 5 or younger and a bf from college. I also had my 2 sil. Talk about big bridal party.

**I was originally having my cousin as my MOH and my sister as my Maitron of honor for as long as I could remember but, unfortunately mt Cousin was killed in a car accident I miss her soooooo much!!

my MOH was my bff from elementary school. there really was no one else that i could imagine as my MOH and she was awesome!!

My Sister was my MOH.. I was her's and all throughout the wedding we called the Maid of Horror!!!! and the Maid Zilla

She wasn't bad at all, we just thought that was really funny and we had the DJ introduce her as the Maid of Horror too!!!

I picked my sister. My bridesmaids were my two best friends & my sister in law. I couldn't choose between my 2 best friends, and of course she's my sister so I thought she'd be the best choice. I do wish now that I had 2 MOHs though. My sister & one of my best friends that turned out to be so amazing & helpful. The other friend just ended up being a pain in my a$$.

I choose Betty as my MOH because not only we know each other for 17 years, she is a female version of my hubby. She knows me inside and out.

When DH told me he wanted to limit his half of the BP to his two best buddies as his two best men (which surprised me! I thought he'd pick a bunch of guys), I just went with my two sisters and made them both Mat-o-H. My two oldest nieces were Jr BM and my youngest niece was FG. Worked out perfectly!

my moh is my best friend like a sister (we have not been friends for years and years although we knew each other) but the first day we hung out we spend breakfast, lunch & dinner together...

6 other bridemaids... they are very close family & Friends and the women I want to keep in my life after we are long married and have our children! They are all very special women in my life and have been with me through a lot of the tough times and the happy times tooo

Honestly? She was the most mature and the one least likely to cause any drama. She also wasn't part of any of the other circles of friends I have, so there would be no jealousy issues.

And... well, she's the best friend I have.

I have been friends with my MOH for 22 years. I've known since I was quite young that there was no question as to who my MOH would be. We have been though a lot together and I love her to death! She's the sister I never had!!!!!
