Both my parent's names, as well as my own (obviously) start with an F so all of our email addresses always started the same way - flopez. My married name starts with an L as well and now I always find when I start to email either my mom or dad I type fly...before I realize that's my name, nto theirs!
that's how I know I'm getting used to my new last name!

I was used to it the night of the wedding. I have not messed up yet! I am very proud of having my DH's last name. And I happen to really like it

Ladies- I dont want to hear anyone complain. I have no middle name, first name is 10 letters long, and my maiden name was 3 letters long . Now my married name is 10 letters long just like my first. On my license it just says my first initial and the last name because it cant fit in the boxes. I feel like my name is being taken away from me because I got married.
So, to answer your question, NO! I love my husband but I am not happy about the name thing.

I am used to my last name! I actually love it! Let's say it's a strong last name. It sounds like a rocker's last name! My friends tease me and say that when we have children we have to name our child with a cool name to match his cool last name.
