Anyone planning any big or small vacations this year? Figured with the new year we can talk about things to look forward to.
DH and i were discussing this yesterday. Now the problem i had is i wanted to take dh to vegas for his bday but he will be in arizona that week for work, and not sure when i can do it after and him able to take off of work since he cant take off as easily.
But he said he wanted to go to europe so was thinking of that for the summer. I want Italy but dh doesnt want to go there this year, he wants to go another time So now thinking where else can we go. I would like Greece but that would take alot of convincing lol. I even thought of maybe doing Spain again in a way to relive our HM lol.
Any plans anyone has?

We are going to Colorado from 3/31 - 4/4 to snowboard and we are so excited. We are in the process of buying a house and that trip is really expensive, so I think that might be all we do this year!

We are going to Disneyland for the week after Valentine's Day I am soooooooooooo excited!!!
We're hopefully going on a Caribbean cruise in the summer for our honeymoon - depending on how soon I get a new job!

I'm in 3 weddings this year so we were not going to go anywhere really. And since one of the weddings is in Puerto Rico, that was going to be our vacation. But we've been looking into a cruise for July or going to Ireland. I'd LOVE to go to Ireland, so i'm hoping we do that.

I think if we dont do europe, we might do Aruba or Cabo. If we go to a beachy place we need alot of other activities and some sort of night life. I know aruba has a casino so that would be great. Theres alot of gorgeous places but for example turks and caicos is GORGEOUS but not much to do at night, not looking for clubs but i dont like being just at the resort ya know. I like to go places for the whole experience, see their lifestyle and not hang out with everyone else who happens to be from NY bc its always filled with ny'ers at resorts lol. I guess thats why i would like to do europe again since you do experience their lifestyle, a whole different culture. Even when i went to the bahamas, instead of going to the club in the resort which was horrible anyways, we took a cab out of the resort area, and went to where locals hang out and went to a bar there.
When we went to Jamaica we were so exhausted we barely made it to 11pm! Being out in the sun all day is tiring on top of doing all these activities. We would even nap before dinner! lol

We're actually going on our honeymoon to Turks and Caicos this February for 8 days. We'll be there for Valentine's day so that should be nice.
We also want to go away in September for our anniversay but not sure how $$ will be since we are already doing a big trip this year. We might just do one or two short weekend trips.
I'll be going to Cancun with two of my girlfriends for 4 days this month for one of their birthdays.
