Since our creation in 1998, With All My Heart Floral Design Studio has been on the cutting edge of event design. We have achieved this by keeping on top of the latest trends and not being satisfied with 'the same old thing.' Our staff at With All My Heart strives to listen to each and every bride’s specific ideas and work alongside them to create the wedding she has always dreamed of. There are three guiding principles that have shaped the company from the day our founder, Lenea Green, first opened the doors - provide the very best in customer service; offer the highest quality in each and every aspect of our work; and never stop trying to improve.

What flowers are “hot” for this season?
The fall is here, and we are using flowers to create a rich palette of the season’s colors. “Hot” flowers for the fall season include sunset shades of roses, bright autumn colored gerbera daisies, green and brown cymbidium orchids, burgundy and bronze calla lilies, and moss colored hydrangeas. Create a melody of textures by adding beautiful berries, eucalyptus, and other fall foliage.
What is the latest “trend” in bouquets, centerpieces, etc.
This season’s floral design trends follow fashion design trends - it’s all about bold colors, texture and patterns. Brides are opting for bold and interesting pairings of brighter shades of blooms for their wedding flowers. We are working with color schemes that feature lively colors such as hot pink, orange, purple, lime green, and yellow. Adding branches, grasses, fruits, greenery, and crystals can give flowers extra structure and depth. Centerpieces are also growing more dynamic. It is becoming very popular to display various heights and sizes to your flowers; as well as using different containers on each table. This year is less about uniformity, and more about unique compliments.
“Bouquet bling” is a growing trend, which, allows brides to dress up their bridal bouquets and add a personal touch to their wedding flowers. You can add a few crystals throughout the bouquet for a touch of sparkle, embellish the handle of your bouquet with a jeweled buckle, or incorporate a crystal monogram into the flowers themselves. Bridal bouquets are a great way to incorporate something old or something borrowed. Not only does it look beautiful and dress up the bouquet for pictures, it’s a fabulous way to add personal meaning to your wedding flowers. Some ideas include wrapping a rosary or piece of heirloom jewelry around the handle of the bridal bouquet. It’s also popular to include a locket or charm with a cherished photograph of someone dear to the bride.
What should a bride and groom look for when ordering their flowers?
The number one key piece of advice when ordering your wedding flowers is to select a florist with whom you feel 100 percent comfortable with. Trust is one of the most important factors when choosing any vendor for your special day. Make sure your florist is receptive to your ideas and that they are willing and eager to listen to your vision. Your florist should understand the type of décor and atmosphere you are trying to capture. At With All My Heart, we pride ourselves on quality and creativity. No two events are ever the same.
How far in advance should bouquets be ordered? How about centerpieces etc.?
There is no specific time frame when it comes to ordering your wedding flowers. It all depends on how long you have to plan your wedding. We typically suggest you start talking with your prospective florists anywhere from 8-12 months prior to your wedding. Booking your florist in advance will allow enough time for changes or any new ideas. At With All My Heart, the more time that we have to work you with the better! We enjoy working with our clients over a longer period of time because of all of the services we have to offer, whether it’s for invitations, favors, linens, chair covers, or custom printed items.
Can a bride get blooms even if they are out of season?
We will do our very best if a couple has their heart set on a particular bloom that is out of season, but it could possibly come with a price. With so many varieties of flowers within the industry, it is a possibility that we can find a comparable bloom that will have a similar look for a lesser cost. Exploring seasonal flowers is a great way to save and be economical.
Which flowers hold up the best for bouquets and boutonnières?
When selecting the best flowers for bouquets and boutonnieres, it is very important to consider the season that the flowers will be used in. This will help us select flowers that will be hardier out of water and have an excellent shelf life. Some examples of hardy flowers that can be used in bouquets all year round are roses, calla lilies, and orchids. Generally, the boutonnieres reflect either the color or the variety of the elements of the bouquets. Roses, calla lilies, orchids, berries, ivy, and other greenery are flowers that should neither brown nor wilt in most weather conditions and should be hardy enough to withstand hours of hugs.
What options do those with allergies have?
There are many options available for those who may be allergic to flowers, or who have guests that may have allergies. We can recommend flowers that will be less likely to trigger an allergic reaction. For starters, you should avoid using flowers with lots of pollen, such as oriental and Asiatic lilies, sunflowers, daisies, and goldenrod. Some flowers that contain little to no pollen would include roses, hydrangea, stock flower and orchids. Another idea for those with allergies would be to carry a bouquet of silk flowers or even feathers. Non-floral centerpieces are a growing trend as well. There are many great ideas ranging from branches, to potted plants, to candles.
