Had the wedding of our dreams at East Wind!! Such a beautiful venue, our photos from both the ceremony and reception are breathtaking! Staff was very accommodating to all of our needs, attentive to every detail and always keeping guests happy and entertained! Had our rehearsal dinner here as well, everything exceeded our expectations and we are so glad we chose EW for our special day!

Penny, Scott and Diane were absolutely incredible.. They exceeded our expectations! We had had such an amazing night, as did every one of our guests! It was the perfect wedding.

I'm not sure exactly what happened, but our parents tables were switched and my in-laws had no place to sit. Once it was brought to a staff members attention it was taken care of. However, they were still not sitting where they had requested, with out of town family. Everyone that I worked with at East Wind was amazing! All the staff is very helpful! I recommend having Mary Lou as your bridal attendant, she was fabulous!! Scott was our maitre d and rocked it!! While planning the wedding we met a lot of Laura who was also amazing- she is only there part time and I felt like she was full time- always got right back to me!

We purchased the all-inclusive wedding package and it did enable us to have a beautiful wedding without going over our budget. All of our guests told us how wonderful the service at the reception was. The reason for the mixed review is because leading up to the wedding, they kept offering us/ promising us various accomedations but failed to deliver. For example, they brought up the idea to me of staying over night the day before my wedding and getting ready onsite with my bridesmaids and they all but guaranteed that they could be flexible with early check in /late check out but when it came down to it on the day of the wedding, they called 11AM sharp telling us we had to check out even though my girls and I weren't done getting ready. When we asked about the late check out they said it wasn't available and kept rushing us out of the room. I ended up loosing the lace to my corset in the rush to get out of the room and nearly had a heart attack until one of my girls went to get it. There were several other instances like this throughout our dealings with them where they kept promising and persuading us but then never delivered. Also the rooms were outrageously priced and the drain in our shower didn't even work. I wouldn't recommend staying overnight to get ready, they make it sound like it saves so much stress but ultimately it failed at that. Overall though it was a beautiful facility at a very good price, so I would recommend them.

We would have liked to have the cake restored untill we checked out the next day!
