I e-mailed JN and she told me she already had a wedding on my day...maybe she got confused and thought 03...I'll try again...see I really want aibrush done...my make up person is looking into it...I don't know if che can do it.
Marcella i think she charges either 125 or 75 I dont remember...she charged my sis 75 for her prom.

To get us back on page one, here is my question, my wedding is for 11:30 on a Sunday morning, is anyone else's that early? What time are you getting up?(Like u are going to sleep the nite before anyway) , and what time are you getting your hair and makeup done, my caterers will let us in the hall 2 hours before for pictures.
Also, are you going to your cocktail hour? (We are)

Hey princess, mine is early on a Sunday. I am figuring that I'll have to get my hair done at 5:30 or 6. Yikes! We want to take pictures beforehand and go to our cocktail hour.

I missed so much from not being on all day. For my make up, the place I get my hair done has a girl they recommend for make up so I think I am going to do a trial with her and see how her work is.

My ceremony is set for Saturday, Sept 18, 2004, 4pm. I have no idea what time I am getting up or anything. I have some time during the day for hair and nails and make up and all that stuff so I am just going to go with the flow of the day.

My church is set for 2:00 but I might push it up to 2:30 due to the fact that the reception starts at 6pm and I don't know what my guests will do for 2 1/2 hours. But I want a lot of time in between in case I am running late and to also have time to take pics. On my wedding day I don't want to be rushed!! I want to take my time taking pics. As for the cocktail hour FH and I discussed this and we thought it would be nice to attend the at least part of the cocktail hour. We're probably going to greet the guests so we don't have to do it later on.

We're having a fantastic cocktail hour and our favorite baked clams are being served so FI and I want to be around for cocktail hour. Our church is at 4, we figure we'll be done with everything (ceremony, receiving line, etc...) by 5:15 (we have to, there is a mass at 5:30) and our cocktail hour starts at 7. It is only a 45 minute drive to the hall so we figure we'll do pictures and head out to the hall and will even take a few photo's at the hall and then its 7pm and we'll mingle around with the guests and enjoy the food.

Our wedding will be on a Sunday evening. Our ceremony begins at 3pm and cocktail at 6pm and reception 7-12. We think we're going to have enough time to do the receiving line, take pics and be at the cocktail hour. Luckily everything is close by. The Garden City Gazebo (place that we're taking pics) is 3 blocks from the church and the reception hall is 15-20 mins from there.

Marcela you should see the rest of the menu. I read cocktail hour to my friend and she thought it was the dinner. We're getting a s u ck ling pig, turkey, 3 types of pasta, coldcuts, antipasta, shmorgusboard of foods, and butler service of pigs in a blanket, mozzerella sticks, baked clams, fried calamari, and a lot more stuff...with food like that i am definatly making it to cocktail hour.

WOW!! That's a lot of food. We're getting a lot too. I have to look at the menu. I can't remember all of it now.

You definitely CANNOT miss that cocktail hour. It sounds AMAZING!!!

What reception hall did you choose?

I am having the reception at Manor East, its in Massapequa. Definatly can not miss that cocktail hour. That wasnt even all the food during cocktail hour. There's more and I just cant remember it. We are also having a mini vianesse table. There is going to be soooooooooooooooooooooo much food.

NYLisa and I, we are getting married on the same date and we have the same hall.

I'm also having a mini vieniesse hour. Where are our guests going to fit all this food??? They're going to be stuffed.

FI and I have it figured out: my dad's family, there jewish they eat...food oh yea they'll find room for food. This is the same family that runs red lights and stop signs are optional for them after a funeral to get to the house and be the first to eat otherwise, there is nothing left. So my jewish family, oh yea they'll eat like food is going out of style.

My mom's family there italian. So eating is like breathing to them.

FI's mom's family they are irish, they need something to absorb the liquor and his dad's family there german they'll find room.

There is going to be sooooooooooooooooo much food.
