We got our bands about a month ago, it looks so weird when we try them on! They are so pretty, white and yellow gold. Last night we saw some friends that are looking to buy a house in our area, and we are not too thrilled, Fh friend is the type that is not in a good marriage and will always try to just show up unannounced, and by the time they get into the house we will just be about married , me and Fh were talking about how we have to set ground rules with them. We are kind of hoping that the house falls through. I know it sounds bad, but I do not need his friend always at my home! Also, I am so angry I got another 2004... it is so long away! People are so stupid they really are, I would never say a word to someone about when there wedding is ... it is so rude! Congrats to all on all the good news... bookings(Phil and Kate are great at Bellarino!) , dresses, flutes and new jobs!!!!) Melissa let us know how your first day was!!!

Niya I love those flutes. That entire lenox collection is beautiful. I bought the lenox unity candle set and I registered for the flutes you bought as well as the serving set and matching frame. I am praying it will be bought for me...

I have gotten a few of those remarks too. My favorite was when a co-worker said, 'Oh my god 2004! I guess someone needed an escape clause.' WTF!!! Whenever I hear these remarks, I always just say, 'we need the time to save and plan for a beautiful wedding, unless of course you would like to pay for it, then we will be happy to move it up!'

Re: 04 Brides
When should we register? I have no idea when to do this. I have about 18 months to go. Do the items change much in the stores I fear that if I register now new things might come in that I would rather have.

Re: 04 Brides
I would not register for things like China until 3 months before your shower. Any items that you might get a few of now, and maybe a few of later I would stay away from, like, what if you get half your china and then it gets discontinued???!!!! But, if you are having an e-party or if family is starting to ask you could do a preliminary registry, with like, single items (blenders, etc). This is what I am going to do because people are starting to ask me. You can always add on china and such later.

Re: 04 Brides
I got everything hooked up at the new job. Its really quiet because a lot of people are off due to the holidays. Though all I have noticed is everyone drinks a lot of coffee. I was introduced to everyone and got my desk somewhat organized. Over the next few days or so I am going to bring in a few pictures to really make my desk feel like 'home'
I think I am now going to be apart of the I am at work and on LIWeddings all day club. LOL But only when I know there is no one around. Dont want to get in trouble the first few days.
There is a really nice guy who is in an office down the hall who has his door opened and his radio on some AM station so that music is filling the hallways. But I did bring my small radio and I have that on.
Everything else is just really quiet.

Melissa!! Thanks for checking in with us! My boss knows I am always on here, but she was married just a year ago, so I think she understands. I get all my work done on time, if not early, so she can't really complain!

OMG!!!!
I just talked to the General Manager at the Manor East they are SOOO unbelievably great! They are sending me some information in the mail this week. I can't wait to look at it but their prices sound awesome on my budget in comparision to what these other places are costing.
Thanks Chip and Nylsa for all of the information you ladies are wonderful. I can't wait to talk to FH and my Mom about this. I'm definitely making a trip to NY to go talk to these people.

Re: 04 Brides
Alfordk9 i am so glad NYlisa and I could be of help. They are like that all the time. They are so nice to deal with and no matter what type of question you have they are always able to help. I asked some weird questions and they were so wonderful.
Definatly make a trip to see them. They are so nice. If you do go try and go at night when they are setting up for an affair (prefably a wedding) this way you can really see what the room looks like all decorated.
If you have any questions feel free to ask Nylisa or myself.

Re: 04 Brides
i totall forgot about wrapping presents.. I have to wrap 1 big box and 4 smaller boxes. And I have decided gift bags...just put the gift in a gift bag, add some colorfull tissue paper, and there ya go merry christmas.
I think I'll do my wrapping tomorrow. I just have to worry about wrapping FI's gifts without him seeing. We live together so maybe I will wrap his gifts in the morning when I am getting ready for work and he is sleeping.

Re: 04 Brides
This past weekend I finished my shopping and my wrapping. I had basically all my wrapping and shopping done two weeks ago. I just needed to buy a few last minute things and wrap them.
