Just checking up on my fellow 04 Brides, wanting to see if any of us have done anything new and also just to say hi.

New things:
Brought my BMs each a BM hankie and a little BM book
Going to order 'Ring for a Kiss' bells
Found the dress that I want but I just need to go into the store and look at it

That is what has been going on with me.

Well nothing new on this end except for we started looking at furniture this passed weekend...we saw a few things we liked....
oh and there is a chance I can get Jacquline Nicole to do my makeup for the day of...I have to schedule an appointment for a trial.

Marcela - I ordered my dress on Friday the 13th... of November and Jackie told me it would take 6 months to come in. I dont have any reason. I didnt even think to ask because Im not getting married for another oh 500 days or so.

KPTOYS: I love that dress. All Maggie gowns are beautiful.

My update: I am going to start working on the eparty invites. I have to start getting a program together for it as well. With Valentines Day around the corner I can get the gift bags and ribbon I need for the favors. We finalized the look of our std magnets. We just have to go visit LA Productions to give her our pic. That is it so far...

I missed so much over the weekend.

Work is driving me nuts today. Yes I am in work. I couldnt get a flight to FL for my grandmothers wake. She is being layed out today and burried this afternoon. Her unveiling is in 6 months and I'll be going to that. So I am mourning at home.

Everyone is in today and asking me a million questions, like I have all the answers. I have about 20 things to do and yet I am on here

Not much new going on.

Licia: I e-mailed JN and she said she wasn't going to schedule 2004 brides makeup trials till April. What did she say to you?

Wanda: Good Luck with the invites. We did our own and it costs us about $125. If you can find them cheap, I would just order them. They were a real pain the in a*s to print up.

Melissa: Again, I'm soo sorry about your grandma. If there's anything we can do to help, do not hesitate to ask.

I am getting married in Sept 04 and starting to shop for a dress in March or April, since I know that some dresses take up to a year to come in.

See you guys are going to have me going into panic mode. I told Scott that I was going to wait until July to do anything else but apparently that is going to be a fib I can see. I really don't want to start looking for dresses to soon because I want to work on this diet first and if I'm successful then I won't be able to fit the dress in the size I am now! Hopefully I can wait till July. I hope!

I'm going to start dress shopping in March. I haven't had anytime to go lately.

Alford: Don't worry about the diet. They can always take in the dress when you lose the weight. Maybe you should call some dress stores and see what they have to say. The length of time it takes a dress to come in probably depends on the designer you want.

I'm going to call around and see. My next dilemna is do I looking for the dresses in MD or do I look in NY because I'm getting married in NY.

I'm planning on going to the GTG how many 04 brides are going?

You can look at dresses in MD, to see what you like. Then you can check and see what store in NY carries that dress.
Chippa & I are both attending the GTG.

I am not too worried about dress shopping. I have a list of questions i want to ask and i was told to give my wedding date 2 weeks earlier to the boutique. I am really excited about going dress shopping

You defintinely have to tell the shop that your wedding is two weeks earlier. This way if there is a problem, you are not cutting it that close.

I think I am a vendors worst nightmare. I get so much feedback from everyone on here about what to look for, what to ask, what to expect that when I walk into a vendor I am a no kidding around bride. I ask them a million questions and I really put them on the spot. I'm the Bride

I cant wait to go dress shopping. my mom is paying for all my bridal stuff so she is all set and has $ put aside if we see a dress that is 'the dress' she can put a deposit on it.

My grandmother left me her pearls in her will so I have my something old and I cant wait to wear them on my wedding day

Oh man 2 weeks in advance.

Ok guys I'm not going to flip out. I'm going to remain cool, calm, and collective. Just chill. I've got time. If not I'll have a wedding with just a videographer, dj, minister and a reception hall.

Maybe I will look in both places. But a lot of the desginers I'm looking at don't have stores in MD. It really ****s.

Marcela, I will take alot of pictures. I gave my sister for Xmas a digital camera so I can post the pics right away. So you will see pictures right away.

Melissa, I can not wait to see the pearls. Since I will be able to see you on 'our' wedding day.
