New things: Brought my BMs each a BM hankie and a little BM book Going to order 'Ring for a Kiss' bells Found the dress that I want but I just need to go into the store and look at it
That is what has been going on with me.

Melissa do you have your own equipment? We were thinking about buying our own snorkeling gear.

Re: 04 Brides
we have our own snorkling gear (goggles, snorkle) as well as dive gear: gloves, mask, boots, fins and weights. Brian has his own wetsuit and dive skin. I dont have one yet. We basically have everything except tanks.
whenever we do a dive our instructor told us its better to just rent a tank because if you purchase your own you have to keep it maintanced and have it checked. if you rent a tank you dont have to worry about those things.

Re: 04 Brides
What is the price range for snorkeling goggles and snorkel? What about the fins? I don't know about diving yet. I have never gone snorkeling so I just want to take baby steps before I get to the big stuff.

Re: 04 Brides
the mask (covers your eyes and nose) runs from anywhere from 15 - 110 dollars (depends on the quality)
the snorkle is depending on the quality 10 - 60 dollars.
Best bet: go a scuba shop. You are going to pay a little more then going to a target or a K-Mart but the quality will be a lot better.

Re: 04 Brides
Marcela sorry im butting in but my story is simiar to yours. My FI and I met when I was 14 and he 15 (16 exactly one week later) I was In middle school. We dated for five years during that time he had 2 kidney surgerys and Had 10% of his lung removed (neve smoked in his life they said that he broke a blood vessel somehow) after his lung operation By the way he was only 21 years old I made a joke which I thught was funny but he didnt. He kicked me out of his house (I cried myself to sleep I really loved him We were each others first boryfriend/girlfriend) 2 months later the day after chritmas he came crawlin back and I took him back. He promised me by the end of the next year 2001 id have a ring. Dec, 22 rolled around my 21 birthday and I had such a bad day at work so hetold me I could have my gift now but I had to get in the car and close my eyes AND NO PEAKING! so I did h drove me to the same park where he asked me out and sat me on the bench that we sat on. And handed me a dozen roses I said thanks and I opened them went to put the cover back one he said look and held the bx up to the light and there attach to one of the stems was my heart shaped damond ring. he got on his knee and I couldnt tell you what he said cause wa Crying. after e put the ring on my finger and i calmed down I said did I say yes? He said yes you said yes silly. The rest is history. I even let him pick the date because it was the first time we kissed as boyfriend and girlfriend in 1995 and it will be the first tme we kiss as husband ad wife how could i say no to that? What great guys we all have!!!!

Wow, I missed 2 days and I missed alot! Thanks Marcela for your congrats! We also found our band today, yeah! We are hopefully booking them on Saturday. I am so anal, I actually typed up all my questions on a piece of paper and made copies. So Melissa, don't worry, I think I am a vendors worst nightmare! I can't believe it, now it's really just the dress to think about and MOVING!

Kristin: Awww what a beautiful story!! Your FH is so sweet I'm soooo glad that your FH made it through and is ok. That must have been really scary
Jess: You're welcome! Congrats on the band. Oh and don't worry. I had a whole worksheet when we went to look at catering halls. It had every question that I wanted to ask and a box to put the answer in. Talk about ANAL!!
Princess: Good Luck with the meeting. I'm sure it will be fine!

Re: 04 Brides
Princess: I asked my co-worker today about the domestic partnership thing. She said that there were no tax consequences and that her FH did not claim her on his taxes because they were not legally married yet. Oh and CONGRATS on becoming an aunt. I totally missed that you had posted that and just saw it when I was looking through the thread! You have to post pics when you get a chance!

Re: 04 Brides
How's everyone doing today. So far so good over here. A women I used to work with is having a baby and I sent her an email yesterday (I havent spoken to her in a long time. She left the company 4 months before me and I emailed her on my last day and that was it) She replied to me that she is due in 8 weeks and is having a boy. I am so excited for her. Her and her husband have been trying so long to have a baby and I am so glad to hear that her pregnancy went well and that she is doing great. She said she is going to retire from her job and become a full time mommy. AWWW Seeing her email really cheered up my day.
Hope everyone is having a good day.

Re: 04 Brides
Melissa I just found out that after my wedding my MOH is going to TTC! I am sooo excited for them. That baby will be gorgeous! Other than that wonderful news I received, nothing much is going on with our wedding planning.
When should I begin looking for the girls dresses if the wedding is in March?

Re: 04 Brides
How is everyone doing this morning? I have a question... I decided to make CD's for the wedding...I want to put our spotlight dance songs and a few other love songs that fit the both of us. Here is the question...Do I have to put the song's info (like the artist and stuff) in the fold, is there any copy right laws? (I am going to post this on the other board too)

Re: 04 Brides
GOOD MORNING ALL!!
Licia-I posted a reply to your question on the Brides board!! I'm glad to hear you are doing those too! I feel like it's too early to make them, but I want to get it over with and not have to think about it! That is a big item to cross off the list! I mean it doesn't take that long to make the CD's -it's the designing of the cover and stuff that takes a little time--that is FH's job- he's good @ designing stuff!
I picked up an awesome file folder thingy @ TARGET yesterday! My friend and i were wandering around & she knew I was looking for one and she found it for me! It's so nice it's like accordian style, but it's a pretty blue color and it's made of a tough plastic! I already have my sections for the hall and the flowers! WOOHOO! i love being anal!! hahaa
