SO far we only have the hall booked we're going after TG to look @ churches.

I can't believe how much time has passed already. I booked my hall in March, that was 2yrs and 2 months before the wedding, now I'm almost at the 1yr & ½ mark. Before I know it its gonna be 6 mos. How exciting yippeee

I have my hall and my church I think I am pretty sure who I am going with for photos and flowers, I want to go and look @ BURTONS I have heard such amazing things about them! Am I the only november 04- bride?? It's all so fun, I feel like I have forever but I want to lock in prices and be able to look around and really do my research, not have to go with the first vendor that is available for my date! I feel the same way, somedays i am like ahhh 2 years is so far but we were engaged in September and 2 months have already passed.
I keep wondering what am i going to do when i have finsihed all my vendors and everything is booked. My FH keeps telling me that there are going to be things i am sure will keep me busy...

there are definetly thing going to keep me busy, like the STD cards, video songs, Band Play list programs, gifts for the BMs and GMs, and fixing up our apartment...We are going to be really busy... Wow now I'm thinking I don't have enough time...LOL

I am relieved that I found a dress, but I am torn..I know deep down that it is THE dress, but everyone else keeps telling me it's too early, so I start to wonder... I am taking one thing at a time, also. With my FH away, I am planning everything by myself. It can be overwhelming, but I just keep thinking about the end result. Then I know it will all be perfect.

Lauren: Don't be torn on the dress. If you love it and you know it's the dress, go for it. Don't let anyway sway you. And hey it's one more thing out of the way. LOL. A girl I go to school with works at Flowerama in Elmont and she told me that all the new 2003 dresses will be in by January. If you are unsure, wait till them, try on more dresses and then decide. We're not going to be able to wait for the 2004 dresses to come out anyway, because that would just be too late. Any word on when your FH will be back? I'm sorry about him being away. I'm sure it must be so hard for you. You are definitely a strong girl

We got engaged on 10/4 and are getting married 7/11/04. Two weeks after being engaged we went to 4 places, with my heart set on only one. We ended up booking the Millerridge Inn a week later (one my heart was set on). So far we have only loked at a few photgraphers. We are trying to get all the major vendors (photo, video and DJ) done before the new year. Rates go up some time around then and I would like this years prices. Good luck fellow 04 bride!

I feel so behind!!!! We have only been engaged for 2 months though. We have at least picked out our site( The Snuff Mill at the NYBG ). We also have our ceremony music ( 8 of our fabulously talented friends ). We also have our photographer ( another great friend ). That's it!! Actually now that I see it I don't feel like we are doing that bad.

I did it, I ordered my dress!! I am so relieved and so excited!
Marcela..I am not sure when he is coming home. It could be anywhere from April to Sept. I just keep praying that he doesn't go to Iraq. It's been rough, but I have alot of support, like from all of you!!

Hey ladies! How is everyone doing? Well, here is an update from me. I booked my DJ! So far, this is what I have done:
booked hall and church ordered my dress booked the DJ
Thats it, so far. After the holidays I will do everything else I can. I can't believe 2002 is almost over! Only 1 year and 5 months! I am so excited!

We want to start looking at DJs but my schedule is going to be pretty busy for the next couple of weeks due to finals and finishing up my semester at school. So we're just going to wait till January to start looking. After the DJ we are done for a while Then I get to start looking for dresses!!! YAY!!!
1 year and 5 months and 10 days for me!!! The time is flying! WOOOHOOO!!!!

New update: I am getting quotes from limo companies. I am considering, Coachman and Ultimate class. I have heard really great things about them. Has any one booked limos yet?
Girls is this hapening to you too? I am going nuts, now when I go to the mall I go straight to housewares....thats nuts...shopping for clothing is my obsession...housewares now, I think I'm loosing it. LOL
