Re: 04 Brides

It looks like we all have proceeding very well towards our wedding. I do not have any updates to report. When I start looking for dresses (in March or April of 2003) I will let you know.

Everyone keep us posted on everything.

I'm booking my photographer and videographer next week! Two less things, yeah! Now just the dress and the band. We have 2 band appointments also coming up. After that, it's the dress this spring. That's what I'm really looking forward to!!!

We are looking at limos now too. Seeing Royalty this weekend and Ultimate Class maybe Monday. In January I want to start browsing for the girls dresses and see what styles are out.
Has anyone done flowers?

Licia: ME TOO!!! And I am soooo undomesticated (is that even a word?? LOL). I'm just starting to learn how to cook major stuff (I know that's bad, I'm 24 I should know already)
I NEVER used to look at that stuff, now that's where I head first!!! So don't worry you are NOT alone!! LOL

I do the SAME thing!! LOL I have hit Michael's every weekend it seems getting ideas on all these things for the wedding and then I think of our home to be.

Marcela don't feel so bad. I am 26 and haven't figured out how to make pancakes yet!!
I made baked ziti a week ago I was so happy!! Of course I didn't make my own sauce... haven't reached that stage yet. How about the fact that I don't know how to make rice! Rice cooker for me all the way!!

Re: 04 Brides

I have that perfect pancake thing...it took me 45 minutes to make pancakes or 4 people. I'll never live that down.
Me and my FH love to cook...thats not the issue, its the cleaning after oh and ...I HATE IRONING.

We also bought the LaPress (the infomercial) its supposed to chopp, dice, slice, cube, juice...I'm nuts

Fi wont let me live down the perfect pancake thing either. I hate cleaning afterwards as well. Ironing i dont mind. well sometimes i do. his clothes are big and he wears a lot of harley shirts so all the decals and stuff is a pain to iron around. my clothes are easy to iron.

i do have an ice cream machine, that i love. best gift i ever got. LOL

Ice cream...now that what I need. We were in Fortunoff and he saw a popcorn machine...He is making me register for it...its a monstosity...All of my things are small and cute...He says everything is for the women so he wants that...Where the hell am I going to put that thing...Don't get me wrong its cute...but big.

Re: 04 Brides

I have an ice cream maker, pop corn machine, cappaccino machine, waffle maker, crock pot, perfect pancake maker, fondu set, and all the basic stuff like toaster, blendar, coffee pot, microwave, etc...

so i told FI i want to register for a new blendar and coffee maker for our registry. he wants a griddle.

FI said the same thing, the women get everything and this is what i want. so he wants the griddle and some pots and pans because as everyone knows, i dont cook. LOL....

Re: 04 Brides

I hear you Licia, we registered for that too... the red one, old fashioned thing? He also made me register for a $200 coffee/expresso machine, ugh vay. We registered for a bunch of things that I know NO ONE will get us, but what the heck I guess. Do you guys think it is too early to buy wedding bands? There are some good sales now, just wondering your thoughts. Thanks!

Re: 04 Brides

Jess, I am starting to look at different wedding bands now. We want to have them made so its going to start liiking at styles now. Plus it will be easier on the pocket. I used to work with the jewelers that are doing our bands

Re: 04 Brides

We are getting married in June 2004 and we just ordered our wedding bands this week. My e-party is coming up in 2 months and I need the bands for the blessing, so that is why I ordered them so eary. Also, I had mine custom made and that takes time as well. Jess, I don't think it is too early to purchase your bands, esp. if you know what you like and want.

So far I have booked the hall, church, and band. My next thing is wedding gowns, but I'm waiting until the spring...And of course, my FH and I can't wait to register!
