05 diet support group?

Original post by JPC1125

On slim down, there used to be a online support group that was started to keep up motivation and encouragement.
It seems to have dissolved over time but since we 05 brides are still trying to lose those last few pounds before our weddings, I thought maybe we could give it a go here?

Is anyone interested?
I would start the weekly update threads but anyone can post whenever you need a boost or feel like you need some support.

Re: 05 diet support group?

I'm off to the gym too - the only way I'll go is if I do it as soon as I get up. I try to go at least 4x a week.

Amy- wanted to lose 20 pounds by Oct.

I joined WW in Feb and have lost 18 pounds!!(although I gained back 4 in a week-see my post on Slim Down).

I'm hoping that this week at weigh-in will show I've taken those 4 pounds off.

Ladies, I HIGHLY recommend WW. I have NEVER been able to stick to a diet before. This doesn't feel like a diet. They teach you PROPER portion control and I make much better food choices than before because I'm only allotted a certain amount of points in a day.

I never thought the weight would come off this quickly. I'm thrilled with my results.
OK - now I sound like a commercial.....

Angela -- want to lose 25 pounds by September. I follow WW Flex Points plan; I have a very tight schedule so it's not always easy to maintain a regular exercise routine but I try to walk at least 30 minutes a day; and I jump on my stationery bike whenever I get a chance.

I've lost 12 pounds in 2.5 months.

Leslie - 15 pounds by wedding date - gym 3x a week plus Weight Watchers Flexpoints program. My first weigh-in is tomorrow so wish me luck! So far, I love the diet and don't feel restricted at all. I highly recommend it. But hopefully it will pay off a bit when I get weighed in tomorrow. And congrats to all of you that lost weight so far!
