Hi Girls! Are we getting excited yet??? Will the Riviera call for more money? I was reading old posts and wondering if they call when they want the rest of the money. Not that we have it but should I call them? Maybe just wait. Anyone ever find a picture of the actual chairs?? Hope to hear you girls soon!!

They should have given you a breakdown of payments. I think they need another $3K 6 months before your wedding date. Your BM will call you and set up an appointment to go over your menu, etc. You will probably want to give them a check then, because your final payment has to be in cash or money order. So what we are doing is guestimating how many people we are having and writing out a check for that many. That way our cash layout the Monday before the wedding won't be that much.

Good news ladies... the cocktail room is getting done, and is supposed to be done before Easter! I went there yesterday to make a payment, and they told me that they got the permits and the room was being done

the cocktail room is supposed to be bigger, and there will be an entrance to it from the main lobby. the wall behind the piano, with the painting on it will become a doorway into the cocktail room. and yes, this easter is what they told me!

OMG!!!! I know I said it before, but I'm sooooo excited!!!!! I booked the Riviera in 2004, and then they told me this was going to happen (well, they were planning on it anyway).... I'm so happy it will be ready for my wedding!!!!

I am going their Sat for food tasting to put the menu together so I will give updates and maybe sneak in a pic or two I will let you know ASAP!! I just pray they finish BEFORE APRIL 28th

Hey, just got back from our HM....... Ladies, let me tell you, you WILL NO BE DISAPPOINTED!!!!!!!!! My wedding was AWESOME! The place looked amazing, the food was amazing (or so we heard ), the service was amazing, the bartenders were amazing, everything was amazing!
Everyone remarked on what a beautiful place the riviera is and about how great the service was. You will have the greatest day of your lives!
