06er's, I really need your help!***Updated at bottom

Last night I hit 1000 posts, and got to change my avatar. So FH was asking me what I changed it to, and as you can see, I have Michael Copon, The Hot Power Ranger. Well, he flipped out on me in a jealous rage, and we didn't speak for the entire night. So I wanted all of you girls who have a hot guy (that you'll never get to meet anyway) other than your FH on your avatar to respond to this, so my insanely jealous FH can calm down. You can write something to him if you want on here. I was thinking about the reasons why it's so stupid for him to be mad about this, and here's what I came up with:

1. I'm on a WEDDING website talking to WOMEN all day about planning my own WEDDING and how much I love my FH!!!!

2. I certainly cannot be the only one on this website that has a guy she thinks is cute on
her avatar.

3. I'm never going to meet this guy, and if I was going to, I'm ENGAGED, which is like being married already.

Please help girls! Sorry so long! Thank you for listening, I'm going to the gym now!


Well, after 24 hours of almost silence (only neccessary conversation happened) we made up. He was very angry that I had posted the hot boy for all you strangers to see, I guess in his mind it was disrespectful in some way to him. Anyway, I told him to get over it because I'm marrying him, he's the one I love, and all that good stuff. He wants me to change it, but on principle I won't. He doesn't see it ever, and I don't see anything wrong w/ it because of what I said before. I don't care if he had magazines, watched certain channels, or even talked about hot chicks, I'm secure enough in myself not to! So in the end I decided not to show him this post, and add insult to injury, but I thank all of you for your support and funny comments. I was sad and I missed him during those 24 very long hours, but now he's back and I'm happy! Thank you!!!!!!!!

I do not have a hot guy on the avatar-but just laugh at him. Explain to him how he can not possibly be mad over a picture of someone who you will never meet .

okay, one day I posted that I thought Johnny Depp was hot. FH got really upset. He said 'I bet you some girl will write that they would NEVER even have such a thought because they are so totally in love w. theirr FH and shame on you' Yeah, so that NEVER happened. I told him all the things you have pointed out, I also said it is pretty unrealistic to expect me to think NO ONE else in the world is HOT. I told him I was sorry for hurting is feelings, I won't make another postlike that,Stay off of LIW, and shut up!! (well I said it nicer)

in honor of that i changed back my avatar to Tom cruise when he was hot and not all crazy like!!!!!

Tell your FH that the guy in your avatar is an actor; they don't count, because they're not real people anyways.

ETA: I don't consider an actor real until I've met them! They just seem like fiction to me!

First off....if he's upset, it's NOT stupid...his feelings are hurt & you need to try to understand that.

Second, yes all the reasons you mentioned are valid reasons why he should not Worry

but

What if the situation was reversed & FH was on say a sports message board site & had some hot girl in skimpy clothes, would it bother you at all? You know he is your guy and he's most likely NOT going to meet her, but wouldn't you rather he had your picture up or his team or something?

You know there's no legitimate reason for him to be jealous, but it wouldn't hurt to reassure him either...

It's all in good fun..We are all girls...it's all for entertainment purposes.. it's not b/c you have a crush on him or anything... or you haveing a secret affair with him... NOT A BIG DEAL he needs to get over it

Why to men have to act like such BOYS sometimes?? It's just a picture and it doesn't mean anything. I have a huge thing for Derek Jeter and FH has one for Jennifer Aniston. We joke with each other about it but its all in fun. Seriously, you don't owe him any explanations. Just ignore him and wait for him to bring it up, if he does at all. I'm sorry this happened!

I think he needs to get over himself. You are comitted to him and love him. When people get, engaged, married, whatever, it doesn't mean they stop seeing other people as attractive.
I had an ex who was like that and it drove me nuts. My FH would roll his eyes if I had some actor I thought was hot in my avatar, but he wouldn't freak out and start a fight.

My FH tells me J-Lo is his!!! Yeah and??

Who cares?? At the end of the day, we are in eachothers arms. That's all that matters.

So you're not allowed to look at the menu? As long as you don't order I don't see a problem. He sounds insecure but you could reinforce that there is no one more perfect for you than him. It's merely a statement to your friends here of your likes and dislikes and it means absolutley nothing.
