08 Bridal shower!!

ok so if you dont know what im talking about ill sum it up the best i can...

I think it would be so much fun for one of our GTG in oct, nov, or dec. (whatevers best) to make our GTG where we rent out a room at a resturant and make it a bridal shower for the 08 girls!! kinda make it a 'secret bride' (instead of secret santa) you each submit your name and one place your registured to me or whoever wants to be in charge.. then each bride will have a bride to buy for. then at the shower we all swop gifts. play silly games.. have decorations, favors the works i think it would be so much fun.. and if we do a brunch/ or lunch it would be much cheaper..we could prob pull it togther for 30-40pp

im open to suggestions for EVERYTHING... including resturants.

but the point of the poll is just to see how many people would be DEF interested in participating.

I think it's the 23rd in NYC, FH & I will be out of toewn, so I kinda didn't pay as much attention to it as I usually do

Great idea! I'm totally in!

I love the idea of us buying things for each other off our registries. Makes it feel like LIW girls are part of 'real life' if that makes any sense.

Also, if there are 30 or 40 of us, we can do something nicer than a VFW, I think, plus what, then it's a potluck and everyone brings food too? Let's have it at a restaurant so there's minimal planning involved.

I will do anything you need also. I think we will save money bc we wont need centerpieces or favors. Just pp on the food and the gift range.

ok girls thansk for all the offers to help and i will DEF. be taking you ALL up on them!!!!

the only reason im saying VFW is b/c Jess (jesaroo) has offered to take care of the food if its 30-40 people since her dad has an italian food catering business... if you girls think this would be ok.. then maybe we could do that cuz then all were paying for is drinks/ hall

i love the idea of Milk and Sugar i think its a great idea.. i will give a call and see how much it would be..

i was also thinking of the Irish Coffee Pub in East islip... but its more east then Central LI..
