08 Bride needs Rhinestone buckle for invites...where??

I'm looking for the cheapest possible places to get those cute small buckles that you can feed ribbon through for my invites. Someone on the 08 Board said I should post here and check because someone might know where to go.

Thanks in advance for your help!

The only place I can imagine would be one of the craft stores...AC Moore's or Michael's or search online there should be something. Good Luck!

Thanks! Your invites are very nice!

So I went and did a little research on friday.

I went to walmart, they do have packages of 'rhinestone like' buckles (3 for $1.73, but they are different shapes). I didn't like them much because they look kind of like plastic and don't really shine. You can use them to make a sample though before you purchase the real thing.

I went to to the garment district and found a trimming store called Margola Corp (48 West 37th street). I worked with Lorraine. The phone number is 212-695-1115. They have all sizes of rhinestone buckles. I found a small round buckle that I liked that costs $7.91 per dozen. That works out to be about $0.66 for each buckle. They have a 10 dozen minimum order which is fine with me, since I need at least 150 of them. So I figure I can order all of the buckles I need for about $110 or so before taxes, which isn't that bad.

I'm going to try and search the garment district a little more, but I think that's going to be the best deal I can find.
