08 RP- Disney Restaurant Question

Original post by cherish83

.Okay, so I just called the Disney reservation desk for restaurants, and the only time they have to eat at Cinderalla's Castle for dinner is at 4:10. Thats a bit early. We got the dining plan, so that uses up 2 out of our 5 sit down meals. My question is, is it really worth it? The pictures I found online of the place don't look really nice. FH and I are trying to find nice/romantic places to eat.

So far we've booked, Wolfgangs downtown (Wofgang is FH's idol, so that was a given.. ) and the coral reef at Epcot, because i told FH he had to plan a date, and he doesnt really know disney but he said the only thing he knows of disney was seeing that restaurant on Full House and it looked nice

I tried for Le Cellier, but thats ALL booked for the days we are there... What other nice restaurants do you recommend?

I know I want to do some of the fun ones too, like Prime Time Cafe, but thats not expensive, so we dont mind paying for that for lunch.

Okay this started out as one question and turned into many and i started rambling so i'm going to stop now.. Thanks for all those who beared with me here

Did you see the characters at the Crystal Palace? Isnt that the one with the Pooh characters.. Piglet is my favorite!

YES!! they come to each table so u don't have to try to chase them around, cause they come to you. and then they do a parade (but that's with the kids..lol) the food is phenomenal (for a buffet!)

Ok, so do they only go in the morning buffet? I'll have to make sure i'm there!!

Victoria and Alberts is the most romantic restaurant in Disney World at the Grand Floridian. No children and its dressy. The food is phenominal there!

I agree. That is my absolute FAVORITE!!!

California Grille, on the 15th floor of the contemporary hotel, is a MUST!!! They have an outdoor terrace, where you can watch the wishes fireworks...sooooo beautiful and romantic! and, the food is to die for!! If booking a reservation, make sure you find out what time the show is for the night you go. (If you go)

One of the brides on the 08 boards works at Magic Kingdom. She said they are closing for renovations.
