Hi ladies....I was wondering if you would be so kind to post where you went on your HM and how you thought it was. The only thing I have left to do is book a HM and I've having a hard time choosing. Honesty is great....give me the good, the bad and the ugly! I can take it lol I know other girls on the '08 boards would be grateful as well. I will post a thread in '08 to tell them to come here to check this out. TIA from a very gracious bride-to-be!

If you want to South Pacific, go to the HM board and find the official board regarding Tahiti, Bora Bora, etc and any questions you may have can be found there. It's like 10 pages long with all kinds of information on resorts people have visited.
It's actually currently at 59 pages long but who's counting...
I went to Tahiti, Moorea, Bora Bora and Tahaa on my HM and if you have the $ to splurge - I highly recommend it. Definitely a once in a lifetime trip which is what I feel a HM should be if you can afford it....you can get to all those other places at some other time in your life. Unfortunately I don't see getting back to the South Pacific anytime soon...maybe for our 25th Anniv! We thought about going back next year but we decided we really want to save it for a special trip in the future...we feel if we go back too soon it will almost ruin the honeymoon memories...and it will no longer be that 'once in a lifetime' trip... Click here for my HM review
I'm heading to Aruba in Oct for our 1st anniv trip...heard great things about it...it's our first time.
I am also a HUGE fan of Mexico - Cabo and the Ixtapa, Zihu area. I know a lovely little romantic hotel in Zihu with only 6 rooms...you can get a room overlooking the oeacn with a private infinity plunge pool right on your balcony. It's very romantic and beautiful there...DH and I are headed there in March!
You have so many options - have you narrowed it down at all?

I, personally, highly recommend Sandals resorts in the Caribbean. DH and I wanted an area that was a short flight, warm weather and no children. These resorts are all inclusive, including taxes, gratuity, airport transfers, all food and liqour your heart can desire plus more. We went to the Bahamas and loved it. We were there for a week, and there was still so much to do and see!! Not to mention it all very affordable!!!!!!!
Yeh, that's what we are thinking. Our only problem is we hear good and bad about all the islands and are SO confused about where to go!
When we worked with Leslie at Travel Solutions, I raised this concern with her, and she shared with us the pros and cons of each island and each resort based on her opinions and own visits, and then gave us booklets to read through. We were able to narrow down to Bahamas and St. Lucia, but St. Lucia didn't offer dolphin swimming, which I wanted to do, so the decision came easy.

Do you remember what the pros/cons were? If you can, let me know..maybe it'll make it easier. If you don't want to post here, can you please FM me? THANKS!

Nick from CLM just called and asked us... he called a few weeks after we got back from our HM. We were so flattered and so excited to do it.

That was nice. When I think about it, you really don't see commercials for catering halls that often..I wonder why?
