09 Brides who may have registered at Linens & Things

I just received this email....If you are registered there (which I was and loved them) you should think about changing stores.


Today, October 16, 2008, Linens ’n Things announced that the company is entering into liquidation. This announcement pertains to both the US and Canadian stores, as well as LNT.com and will commence liquidation on Friday, October 17, 2008.
In light of this announcement, we wanted to advise you that you should either purchase any remaining items on your registry or relocate your registry to another retailer.

Our stores will remain open for a short period of time to liquidate inventory. Both the 10% off announcement cards and 20% off completion discount will no longer be valid effective Friday, October 17, 2008.

In this exciting time in your life we understand that your registry and wedding are very important to you, and we regret that our company issues have led to this situation.

Yea, I saw this topic and was gonna say that I thought they were going out of business.

I have a $50 gift card I have to use there soon!


It really stinks that they are going out of business. I liked that store. But i guess it is very similar to BBB.

i wonder if BB&B will still accept Linens N Things coupons i have a couple that dont expire for a while!!

I used my gift card when they announced only a couple of stores were closing (the one by me happened to be one of those stores) I had no problem using my gift card. I dont think you will have a problem.
