Re: Does anyone get sickened thinking about their FH's bachelor party..
I now what you mean. I personally do not care about strippers b/c that is not his thing. But, my man wants to go to Vegas. Idk. I am freaking. B/c he is more than likely do something with a pretty girl in a club than with a stipper. AGHH!!

Re: Does anyone get sickened thinking about their FH's bachelor party..
i am not worried at all. my FH doesnt drink and dislikes strip clubs. no he isnt gay, but doesnt see the point in strip clubs. his bachelor party will probably be where he hangs out with his guy friends and plays games. he is more into gaming and loathes drinking. also he knows how i feel about stuff like that and he would understand if i did not want that.

I'm not worried b/c I trust my FH & he's not into strip clubs. I know he wouldn't do anything that would jeopardize our relationship. He's also going up to his friend's hunting cabin in upstate NY in the middle of nowhere....to target shoot & fish & have beers w/ the guys. Also his best man is my brother.

Just because the guys your FH are going with have cheated doesn't mean yours will.
My FH is having two bachelor parties, one in Vegas and one in Amsterdam.
In either case, I'm not worried at all. I told him 'do what ever you want,' knowing that if I tried to put limits on what I wanted him to stay away from, he'd be more tempted to 'break the rules.' I figure it's a little reverse psychology
I trust him to remain faithful and wouldn't marry him if I didn't.

I would highly recomend you putting your foot down about having the party the night before the wedding. That is a diaster waiting to happen. I think that if he is going to have one despite your feelings, you should at lest tell him not to have it the night before. I think it would be a brides worst nightmare to walk down the aisle to a groom who looks like he is either going to hurl or passout.

No b/c I think he is just going camping (which is what they did for his best friend in July)...
I already told him that I'd be really upset if he did the whole stipper thing...not b/c I care if he's looking at naked women or even getting lap dances...but b/c it demonstrates a complete lack of respect for me and our marraige to come. I also said that if thats the way someone wants to start a marraige with me, then I'm not the right one for them.
I feel so strongly about this!!!

Re: Does anyone get sickened thinking about their FH's bachelor party..
I'd like to chime in with a Man's perspective if that's ok. My Bachelor party I went to a steakhouse with the guys and had an awesome meal, some drinks and good conversation. It was what I wanted. The strip club thing is more for the guys attending the BP, not the groom himself. I would never have done that because 5 seconds after you walk in and the novelty of being surrounded by naked women wears off, it is pretty lame to be there in my opinion.
If a guy is going to cheat or disrespect his FW, he'll find a way to do it whether its at a bachelor party or elsewhere. If he's a good guy and he realizes that going to one of these places upsets you, he won't go out of respect for you or won't even want to go becasue it doesn't interest him. The whole concept of a 'last night as a free man lets go see naked women' is pretty outdated if you ask me. However, if he wants to go because his friends all want to do it and you know it means nothing to him, try not to be upset by it. It should be a harmless event without a lot of meaning and his going is more a rite of passage than anything to do with disrespecting you.

I'm not worried about it because I trust him and I know for a fact that he wouldn't do anything stupid.
He is actually more worried about my bachelorette party, because he knows how crazy some of my friends can get!!

love the male perspective. we need MORE of that on this board!
i had my moments a month ago... now, I'm too freakin' stressed with details to care less.
here's my take: you trust your man? you trust him with your life? you trust him as the father of your future children? you trust him not to cheat?
If you answer yes, then who cares!
The thing is... all of a sudden... I want some strippers! So...what's good for the goose....

Re: Does anyone get sickened thinking about their FH's bachelor party..
Nah--no concerns here. Strip clubs aren't that big of a deal to FH. he's been to them a few times since we started dating, but only cause friends wanted to go. (i went with him once!)
i figure telling a guy 'NO...I forbid you from doing something.'...is like sitting a 6 year old in front of big piece of chocolate by theirself and saying to them, 'Don't you DARE touch it!' once you leave the room, what's the kid gonna wanna do?
i trust FH completely...if he wanted to cheat on me, he'd find a better place and time than his BP. i think sometimes we forget that they are marrying us for a reason...hello!! they are in love with us!! if any girls out there are truly that nervous about their man cheating that nite at the BP...then perhaps there are more problems with your relationship than a silly party. (i'm not talking about the OP, just women in general in this category)
i hope my FH has a great time and lives it up. (i think he's going to vegas). cause i know my girlfriends will probably take me to see some male strippers. hehe

if you guy really wanted to doing something he is not supposed to do at the B-Party, he probally would of done it already.... (IMO) and not wait until right before the wedding to do so

Re: Does anyone get sickened thinking about their FH's bachelor party..
my FH had his BP last last weekend. they had strippers but mostly cause of his friends. i really dont care cause i trust him completely and plus this really is one of the last time this kind of partying will go down. so i say let them do whatever for their BP cause after that its no more parying for them.
