1 of my worst fears came true..

we are really short on RH minimum..

What do we do? Can we do? suggestions?

OK, how short is short?

Then, go to your Hall and have a meeting with either the GM or your BM to see about what you can do-- renegotiating your minimum or possibly putting something else in place of your guests...

Example: short 30 guests = a certain amount of money $$ so that money can be used for a VH or an extra station on your cocktail hour (like the fish boat) instead of feeding those 30 guests.

Your other option is to do everything you can to invite some people last minute.

Also, if you are short a small amount they can wrap those dinners up for you- you can freeze them and eat them after the HM.

There are a few options- start at the top and work your way down.

Just make sure you meet with someone at your Hall b/c that will make all the difference-- I'm sure they have encountered this before and will be able to give you options/help you.

We are meeting Saturday with BM..and I did forget the Vendors..so now I'm only short like 25 people..I'll see what they can do/offer.. Thanks you guys!

Erica, so sorry!!! 25 people is a lot to be short! Are you inviting kids? How about your bridal party's parents? Already invited/included? Did you already count you and your FH?

Once you get a final headcount, go to the hall and negotiate - add or upgrade something like mentioned above. Or invite some LIW'ers You can have an LIW table.

I'm sure it will work out!!!

Erica I'm sending you many and some . I hope with the above suggestions you will be able to work something out in your favor.

I called my hall and we split the difference. So instead of paying for 20 non attending guests, I paid for 10.

Hey it saved us a few G's.
