Re: 1 photographer or 2?
I have heard 1 for every 125 people. If you have more than 125 you might want 2. it also helps b/c one can be with the groom when they are getting ready and one with you

My photographer has a package with 2 photog's - the first one I have with me from the morning through CH and the second one is with FH is morning and then stays through CH and reception. I'm havign 125 people at my wedding, so I didn't need 2 at the reception.

Re: 1 photographer or 2?
I had one and I wish I had 2. It is just not physically possible for the photographer to be in 2 places at the same time. There were pics that I wanted that couldn't be taken due to sheer timing. Like she couldn't photograph DH watching me come down the aisle, me coming down the aisle and the back of me coming down the aisle all at the same time. KWIM?
That being said, I have over 800 proofs and I can't seem to narrow it down enough for my album so I don't know what I would have done with another 500+ pics.

Re: 1 photographer or 2?
we made sure to have 2. The reason is because my sister only had one. her photos were amazing, but it is impossible for one person to capture every moment. Its impossible for 5 people to capture every moment. LOL but we liked the idea of more than one person taking the photos and getting more moments.
Editied cus I type bad.

We are having two. The way he explained it to me is the other photographer is going to get all those candid shots.

I'm doing 2,
Cause I really loved one photographers style, but my family wants really traditional portrait style stuff too.
So one will do candid type artsy stuff the other all the normal photo stuff.
They were both okay with it, but warned me about eyeballs in different directions and that people should know who the main photog is.

IM HAVING 1 AND AN ASSISTANT
Me too. But I have a schedule that will allow him lots of time to get all the shots we need, so it's a bit easier. I have a loooong break between ceremony and reception, and the guys and girls will all be at the same hotel, hopefully on the same floor . . . .!!

Re: 1 photographer or 2?
I am doing 2 because for one photo the 2 cameras pick up the different angles like front and back in the same moments. I used Candid like Life in Bellport and there pics were so pretty and that is how they explained it to me. That was my rationale for the extra money it cost.

Re: 1 photographer or 2?
I am doing 2 plus an ***'t I think. I can't remember if there is an ***'t or not. I always felt it was much easier to get all the candid shots with 2 photogs. I am more into the photojournalistic effect anyway. More candids the better IMO
