Hi girls, I wanted to add just shrimp to my cocktail hr. and the cost was 10$ pp. Does that seem average or a lot? TIA!

That can't be right for just shrimp. Call back and find out what else is included in that $10pp. If it's just for shrimp, those shrimp better be the size of a face!

it abs sounds high but i have seen shrimp at CH as an add on for 10pp and the whole seafood shabang upwards for 20pp...

$10 should include shrimp, clams, etc......the bigger seafood would be lobster, crab legs, little necks, etc...
If it is $10 JUST for shrimp and not some sort of seafood package, thats a bit much.

Wow, I can't imagine that's just for shrimp. Our whole seafood boat is $15 pp. You should call them back and check what else is included.

What are you all complaining about? If you go out to any average restaurant & get a shrimp cocktail it will cost about $10.00 for 4 to 5 shrimp. Now you want to do the same thing at your wedding and you can't understand why it cost $10.00 PP Keep in mind this is $10.00 PP for unlimited shrimp, not 4 or 5 in a serving. Your guests can take as many shrimp as they want.I went to a wedding last month..... FH & I probably ate 20 shrimp between us.Yes we're having shrimp at our wedding @ $12.00pp. Happy to pay it . Iove shrimp!

ummmm what we are saying is that USUALLY at a CATERING hall they give you a seafood package.....for example, it usually is $10-$15 for shrimp, oysters, clams, lobster, little necks, ETC NOT JUST for shrimp. This is not a restaurant we are talking about.
