1- Worked in a bowlijng alley for 10 years coaching and stuff
2- Love the out doors
3- 2nd child for my dad, 1st for my mom
4- Brother is 7 yrs younger, sister is 12 yrs older. SIL is exactly 10 yrs older
5- Enjoy sketching flowers, scenery and articvles of clothing. Won first prize in HS citywide.
6- Used to collect stickers and all forms of stationery still have albums filled. Now just Cinderella (even have several signed pictures)
Even though I have two boys I have a ton of stuff
7- love to comparrison shop and find bargins
8- want to be a sahm
9- always have a headache and seem to have no energey like i use to
10- would like to have another child before 40

I’m an incessant list maker, so this is right up my alley.

1. Also a Buffy/Angel addict. I own all the available seasons on DVD and I watch my favorite episodes twice – once regularly and once with the commentary on.
2. I’m a total entertainment junkie – Entertainment Weekly is my favorite magazine and I know way too much Entertainment Trivia. My friends won’t play Trivial Pursuit with me.
3. I’m so much happier sitting home with friends, a bottle of wine and some board games than going out anywhere.
4. Halloween is my favorite holiday – it’s never disappointing, although this year I’ll be on a plane to Hawaii for my honeymoon!!
5. I’m obsessed with the Wizard of Oz – I can’t even tell you how many times I’ve seen it and I have a huge collection of memorabilia.
6. I’ve lived on my own since I was 18 – I left for college and never went back for more than a couple of weeks. I love my family, but I’m also extremely independent.
7. I moved to LI and enrolled in Hofstra grad school having never set foot in NY before. I needed to get away from a bad relationship and move on with my life. Good thing too, because I met FH in grad school.
8. I went a little party-crazy my first year in college and ended freshman year on academic probation with a 1.25 GPA. But I ended my senior year within 4 years and made dean’s list.
9. I’ve been told I make a terrible first impression but people like me the 2nd time they meet me. I’m still trying to figure out why that is, but in 29 years haven’t figured it out yet!!
10. I love my FH and our dog Brodie so much that sometimes I can’t believe I’m living the life I have and that I’m so lucky. But I do feel a little guilty for making Brodie wear a tux in our wedding:

5. I have a younger brother that grew up living with my Father, while I lived with my Mother and now lives in AZ. So I am the older sibling but basically grew up as an only child.

4. I love my job!!! I love my students and couldn't imagine doing anything else! Someone asked me today if I won a million dollars would I leave and my answer was NO! I would still do it, just maybe part time so I didn't have to deal with th BS of admin. that drives me INSANE!

3. I always feel like I have to fight for the underdog. I am ALWAYS getting myself in trouble with that!

2. There are 2 houses for sale on my block and I secretly want to have them sold to my friends or maybe 2 LIW girls!

1. My biggest fear of pregnancy is that my DH will now be thinner than me. (stupid I know)

Finally! Someone else likes XANADU!!! I thought i was its only fan!!!! (besides from gay men)

This is a GREAT thread

1)I too have curly hair that i have been flat ironing every day for 10 years!

2) I met FH in college the first time FH tried to ask me out i said no. The second time i said yes and he told me rignt then and there that he was going to marry me!

3) My parents are divorced and i have 1 sister 2 half brothers and a stepbrother, but i just say i am 2nd oldest of 5 kids.

4)I would rather stay home most nights than go out

5) I only wear bras and underwear that match and they HAVE to match my clothes

6) I dont know how to cook, unless it is pasta or grilled cheese

7)I live in DC (with FH and my ADORABLE beagle fiona) and sometimes i hate it but i love my job so it keeps us here!

8)It is very hard to surprise me, somehow i always know!

9) I think i MAY be getting a promotion on monday (see #8)

10)I partied hard in college and wouldnt change it for the world.

1. I drink a 20 oz. diet coke with my breakfast, one with lunch, and one at 2:30.

2. i am 9 yrs older than my sister and 10 yrs older than my brother

3. my other sister died when i was 11

4. I always take the crust off my food... even the top layer of crust on hot dog buns, etc.

5. I eat ridiculously slow, so we usually try to get my food ready first, so everyone isn't waiting an extra hour.

6. I never make the bed in the morning (FH is usually still in it anyway) but i have to make it before i lay in it to go to bed.

7. I'm 24 and i still don't know what i want to be when i grow up.

8. When i was younger i started collecting quotes (i had a book i'd write them down in). One time, i bascially copied the whole 'Chicken soup for the soul' book

9. i put on hand lotion every half hour, if not more

10. i've never had a 'bad' relationship

Some more things (I'm in a sharing mood)

i'm a complete goofball
i love spongebob squarepants, and even have SBSP under-roos!
i can deal with clutter, but Hate dirt
Im always cold
i like my nose
people tease me that i have ADD b/c i lose focus after 2 minutes
my mom knew after my first date with FH that we were going to get married
yesterday was the first time i ever had swiss cheese
FH and i both want to be stay at home parents (and sugar daddys/ mamas out there? haha)
i get anxiety about long trips, but love traveling
whenever traffic gets backed up, i automatically feel like i have to go to the bathroom
i finally figured out that you can't change your parents... only love them for who they are.

i used to tell people i was elvis reincarnated (we share a birthday)

i know all the words to sleepless in seattle, sixteen candles, the wizard of oz, dirty dancing, the breakfast club and charlottes web.

i like to crochet.

i still want to be an actress, an author, and magazine editor and a massage therapist and a makeup artist all while being a teacher and a wife.

i believe in humanity.

i prefer to see the good in people and appreciate it.

So cute!!!

FI is playing Madden Football, so I'm more than happy to play...

1. I'm a poet - went to school for it and everything.
2. My cat Angie is the cutest - and she has 1 green eye and 1 blue eye.
3. In 8th grade, I was the representative from my school for the San Diego County Spelling Bee.
4. I've choreographed and performed in 5 musicals.
5. My daughter (that I gave up for adoption and who just turned nine) is going to be my flowergirl.
6. I memorized 'Think of Me' from Phantom of the Opera on the piano and played it at my junior high graduation.
7. I love climbing back into my bed for a few extra minutes after I shower in the morning.
8. I LOVE chocolate milk.
9. Living in NYC was a lifelong dream of my mine - now that I'm here, I miss San Diego.
10. My ultimate job would be: 'Travel Writer.'

Bonus: FI and will have been together for over 8 years when we get married. He's lucky I have patience.

ETA: One more weird fact - I was VP of the line dancing club in high school. hehe! Anyone know of any country bars in the city?

Ok- I am not the best @ this but here goes:

1. I used to live in Cancun for a couple of years.
I actually had a job bartending and had a work permit. YEs- I worked for pesos

2. Met my di (dh) there Cancun- we grew up 20 mins froom each other and had to meet 1200 miles away. He is my best friend in the world -

3. My family is shamelessly dysfunctional.

4. We have 2 bunnies.

5. I quit smoking for a year and am back off the wagon until this big wedding.

6. I am getting baptized tomorrow in the Greek Orthodox church.

7. I am obsessed with cleaning the moldings in my house....not sure why


8. I am addicted to diet coke and aspertame.

9. I am obsessed with hair products and blow drying my curly hair straight. Chickend out of the japanese hair straighteneing twice!

10. I have a potty mouth- I try not to curse all the time ( I am more subdued @ work)

A couple more things:


I LOVE when I get into bed and start asking fi stupid questions b/c i love how he sounds
( mutters) when he's sleep talking

We got engaged in Santorini Greece

I love the Sopranos and wish we wouldn't have to wait so long for the next episodes

Yeah but I don't want to be teased if I tell ya!

LOL

Let me think:
1. Was born 15 years into parents marriage - they almost adopted before they found out mom was pregnant with me
2. Was always a B or C student in H.S. but I graduated on Dean's list in college and grad school
3. My husband is a certified chef (but works in construction)
4. I hate doing the dishes
5. I am a Buffy/Angel diehard fan (never been to a convention though, I stop short of that) and very upset both are not on anymore
6. I have a favorite blanket that I still have but don't use anymore but keep 'just in case'
7. I was in the drama club in H.S.
8. In H.S. I loved Depeche Mode, the Cure, New Order and The Smiths
9. On Sundays I always have to listen to Ceol n' Gael an irish music show on WFUV b/c my mother listened to it for years. It's not a Sunday without it.
10. I suck at making lists!

I thought of more last night
- I love going to Duane Reade, CVS or any other store like that and roaming up and down the cosmetics and hair and soaps aisles finding new stuff to try
- I read mostly historical mysteries
- I almost majored in religion in college (I like the historial part of it)
- I love the comic strip 'For Better or For Worse' and have read it since grammar school.
