Yes, we picked devil's food cake with vanilla mousse filling. We decided to do the opposite of what most people pick!

I haven't picked mine yet, our appointment will probably be in 3 weeks or so, we don't get to go in until 4-6 weeks prior, eep.
What I WANT is this:
This is my dream cake...I would love it to be a layer of red velvet with cream cheese filling alternating with a layer of rainbow cookie, and so on and so on....
But I'm not getting that LOL. From what I understand, my RH's cake selection is lacking, to put it mildly. If I want this cake decorated as it is and with those flavors, I'm going to have to pay a HEFTY upgrade charge, which I doubt we will, so we'll probably end up with chocolate cake with canolli filling, which isn't bad per se, just not my ideal choice.

We had a green tea and purple yam cake to match our wedding colors of green/purple but with natural flavors. . the yam just tasted like vanilla though and then we had coconut meringue filling! It was soooo delicious. . and here is a pic. . we desgined the bottom to look like the pattern our our invitations. . okay trying to add picture again

Oooooh I LOVED our cake! The top tier is still in my mom's basement freezer and I want it so badly!!!! Good thing I'm 500 miles away from it!
Ours was vanilla cake with vanilla custard filling and buttercream frosting. It was so freaking delicious!

our is a 4 tier square cake
it has alternating layers with canoli and strawberr shortcake
it wll be decorated wth orange gerber daises and topped wth a handmade micey and minnie cake topper i got off etsy

I didnt even pick it till a week before the wedding, BUT i let DH decide. I'm not a big cake eater, but we did cannoli. It was really good.
