I don't know either, but 1+2+6 = 9 x 2 = 18. 1+8 = 9. There is something about the 'power of 9'...I can't remember now but it is a powerful number and can only be divided by 3 (3 times)...it's supposed to be good luck. Plus, any number you add to 9 becomes that number when you break it down (5+9=14. 1+4=5). It's odd, I know...but I think we're all trying to make sense of it too!

Plese let us knw if you figure it out.

just that explanation ALONE
is enough

Re: $126.26

Maybe they were figuring out what the price per head was. My fh works in catering and he said that a lot of people actually call and ask how much the bride and groom are paying per head, but they won't tell them!!!

One dollar and twenty six cents more than an easily understood gift?

Re: $126.26

That's so strange! Maybe they just wanted to confuse you

Can you just ask them, or do you not know them that well?

I got a wedding gift for $126.26.
What is the significance of the number? Am I missing something

A friend of mine does this to coincide with the date of the affair. What's strange is that your wedding date isn't on the 26th, so who knows why you got this amount.
