They DO suck. First year together I sent his parents 'star of bethlehem' flowers in a vase. They're religious and I thought it was befitting for Christmas. I get a call from him asking why I sent his parents a bowl of DEAD ASPARAGUS to his parents. I was humiliated. Call them and complain

Oh I already called and complained. I told the rep that my fh had crap delivered to him. She asked me to describe the so called crap, I told her I had pics. So she requested I email the pics to her. I did. And she was beside herself. She was speechless and could not stop apologizing. Said she had never seen an arrrangement like that EVER. and was embarrassed. She IMMEDIATELY issued me a full refund.

I'm glad they did, they are usually REALLY good with customer service...we've had trouble from most of the online floral companies with stuff like this.

I worked at their retail store for years and generally they do great work but when it goes out through a non-1800 flowers florist and especially out of the country it's better to call a local place because a lot of florists try to get away with that crap

Oh trust me I was. Worst part is I paid well over $100 for the bouquet. That is a lot when you are a bride on a budget.

wow that suc ks but at least they did right by you years ago a bf ordered me flowers from them for valentines day (roses) and they arrived dead!!! so he called and complained and I got another bouquet from another local florist and then the next day another bouquet came...it was the weirdest thing.

UgHHh soo annoying at least you got your money back, im always uneasy of sending flowers bc you never know how they look when they actually arrive unless someone sends you a picture of them.

FH has problems with them before too. They would forget the chocolates, or the teddy bear, or the balloons. They always are like 'sorry, here's a refund'....its like 'NOT THE POINT'

FH ordered valentines flowers for his Nana in Florida from 1800flowers, and they NEVER SHOWED. He has the confirmation email and everything!
He just called to complain, and he got a recording that literally said 'We're too busy to take your call. Please visit our website.'

Yeah I got that message also. I called back and there is an option to press I think #3 if you are ordering flowers for a funeral or sympathy. I pressed that and eventually got connected to someone.
