1st fitting dress drama!!

My 1st fitting was on Tuesday. (no pics, sorry)
it was so exciting to see 'MY' dress but they have to reorder me one from Demetrio's b/c it's too big. They can't alter the one they ordered me b/c it wont look right afterwards. So now I have to wait another 3-4 weeks before I can start the alterations. I was disappointed but not angry at them. (even though when i was fitted the end of July, my mom and i both said to each other 'i think they are ordering too big a size!') They promise me I will have plenty of time to get everything done, it's just more stress that I don't need.

Uh oh, I lost a few pounds also, I hope since we had the same girl help us that they didn't order mine to big also!!

merrie, who sized you the day you ordered it? Enza was the girl who helped me the whole time but she wasn't there the day i actually ordered it. a different lady helped me.

i do want everyone to know that i am not upset with the salon at all. they have been nothing but helpful. i was just disappointed that the alterations wont even be started til the 2nd week in april

Enza did my order, so hopefully things will go well. I ordered my veil and headpiece's from them and they are in so I am going soon to pick them up!!
