2 Dads- father / daughter dance?HELP!!

my parents have been divorced since i was practicaly born. my step father has raised me since i can remeber and my biological father was always active in my life. how do i make both feel special for the father /daughter dance?? i need help so nobody feels offended and everybody feels loved.

I am doing a dance with DADDY and then with my future POPPIE..

Never had one and he is MY heart So he gets a song to!

When my cousin got married, she danced 'Daddy's Little Girl' with her father and then 'Times of My Life' (by Paul Anka) with her step-father. There wasn't a dry eye in the place!

two seperate dances in one way to go, but who should go first. this is a very delicate situation

I have both a father & a stepfather.

I am dancing with my father first to butterfly kisses.

Then I'm dancing after cake w/ my stepfather to a frank sinatra song that he picked.

My cousin has the same problem. She decided to have one song and dance with her father while at the same time her sister dances with their step-father, then they switch. That way there is no arguing about who gets what song and who goes first or whatever. I think it's a great idea.

thanks girls for teh helpful suggestions! i guess this is just a delicate situation that has no ending that will please everyone. im still open to any more suggestions though.

I have the same situation! Parents divorced when I was little and step-dad has been in life for 20 years..so I am having real dad walk me down the aisle, but at the beginning of the cermony step-dad, mom, and FH parents are lighting candles on the altar.

As far as the dances go I am dancing with real dad first to Daddy's Little Girl and later on I will dance with step-father to another song (not sure what song yet). I think both dads will understand that this was hard/awkward for me and I don't think there will be any problems!
