I think it is alittle. I look at it like this, I am spending over 1,000 on a dress to only wear for one day so I am wearing it ALLLL day long to get my money worth.

I agree 100%.............. i feel exactly the same!!!!!!!!!!!

Not at all over the top. I hear this alot actually. But the second dress should be more like a second wedding type of dress. not a formal wedding gown.

Re: 2 Gowns

i did wanna do two gowns, one big puffy one and then a tighter sexier one for the reception.. but i am so in love with my big puffy dress that i want to wear it all night! plus getting in and out of those bad boys is a pain in the butt!!

if you do get two gowns, make sure they are VERY different from each other.. thats just my opinion anyways. my cousin changed dresses at her wedding, and the 2 dresses she wore were pretty identical.... and everyone was like why even bother, and took it that she just wanted to show she had money.
