2 things finally happened!!!

House of brides finally sent me the refund for the BM dresses that didn't come in time for the wedding. They were dragging their feet, but I kept the heat on. If you don't know the entire story, please read my review. I am DONE with them!

And on a non-wedding note, I think AF has finally surfaced!!!!!!!! I haven't seen her for over 2 years (You might think that's great, but trust me, I wouldn't wish my illness on my worst enemy) I told the doctors to take me off all the medication because I wanted to do it on my own with diet and exercise.

I was doing well with losing weight until about 10 days ago. I was cramping horrifically and threw up for 4 straight days. Then I began to bleed. But it stopped. Grrrrr. Then yesterday I started cramping again and my stomach started talking in languages I've never heard. Then I noticed this morning that the uterus flood gates opened! The doctors said I went through 2 years of PMS in the past 2 weeks.

Sorry if this was TMI, but I had to share!!!!

Long story short: Went on the BC shot, was diagnosed with PCOS and they found a tumor in my pituitary. I WILL have children!!! I'm determined.

I have many friends who have PCOS....that's hwy I asked. I am so happy that AF showed up for you, that is a great sign!! You will have children!!

They have so many options now for conceiving w/ PCOS, as a matter of fact my friend is 6 months pregnant now and she has PCOS!!

Congrats!!! Both are great news. I have PCOS too, and my periods are extremely irregular... sometimes I'll go for 7 or 8 months with nothing and then bleed like crazy for six weeks straight (sorry if TMI for some people) so I understand your situation a little bit. With the latest in medications and treatments, getting pregnant while having PCOS is very doable!! Best of luck to you!! And congrats on the weight loss!!

Thats so funny, after 6 months off the shot I'm starting to come back too (just in time for the wedding!) but oh so not as bad as you! Hope you are feeling better!!
Thank god we are both done with HOB, YAY! Hope no other bride goes though that...
