2005 Brides.....

Just curious who is getting married in 05, since I was the only one for a long time! It seems there's more and more lately!

ME!! Our Anniversary is 9/21, so it will either be the weekend before or after. Haven't booked a thing yet.

I am!!! Jan 9th 2005 I was originally 2004 but changed it...it is so lonely being in the minority ...for now at least...

Eh, that's alright It's safe to say you've got some time Kim, although I HATE WHEN PEOPLE TELL ME THAT! But this is from one bride to another, so, we'll just go with it

Thanks Rachel, we are first moving in together July 15th, so I have a ton of other things on my mind. I think I will start planning after the summer, just to get things out of the way.

All we did so far was book the hall, buy our wedding bands, and although I hate admitting to it, I bought my dress But, shhhh!

All we have done is book the hall also. The church wont even let us set the date because it is too early. I should be going dress shopping in a couple of weeks.. yay! Cannot wait for that!!

I am a March 2005 bride too I haven't done much just looked at 2 places so far. Carlyle on the Green and Sans Souci and was disappointed with both So I have to start looking at more!

cookie, look at as many as you can. I'm so glad that we looked around because I would feel silly not being able to compare. As it is, we went with the first place we saw anyway!

Cookie, definitely look around...I didnt look at that many places (only 6). The first day i was disappointed with all three that we saw. The second day...i loved them all but each one better than the last. There is only one hall that I wish I had looked at before I booked...But i still love the hall we ended up choosing!

Yeah I am going to. Did you find that places were less likely to negotiate with you because you were looking for 2005? I feel like they think well they have so much time to book their room so that they don't want to really budge on anything?

I like Harrison House, but noone has called me back yet

I wouldnt be able to help you with that bec we had originally booked for jan 2004 and then changed to jan 2005 - luckily we kept the same price. The place we booked with wouldnt budge down from their price but did add in some extra things for us...
