No, actually I didn't go for tasting. I heard the food is good, from many different people, and I figured I have time to do that.

Re: 2005 Brides.....
Maybe you can think of it positively instead.
Now, you can go to your brother's wedding, enjoy the party, pick the vendors and styles you like, and make even a bigger wedding.
I am in the same situation as you TESS. Well almost. I will have a 2 year engegement, also for financial reasons, and both of my friends are getting married within next year (we all got engaged around the same time ! ) The way I look at it is that I can enjoy theirs, learn from their mistakes and make even a better wedding!

Re: 2005 Brides.....
Galib, I will let you know how the food is next week...I go for my tasting on Sunday.
I'm in the 2 year engagement situation also. I would have liked to have done it sooner, but financially it is better for us to wait a little bit and save $ without struggling to pay our monthly expenses, which we have plenty of. I started to think that it would nice to have some time to plan. I'm the type of person who doesnt like to rush in doing things. Like Ronnie&Theresa said...'enjoy & plan'.

I am getting married in 2004, and also had a long engagement, do not let anyone tell u u have so much time in there whiny pathetic voices, it is amazing the things people say- I got so sick of it one day, I started to ask people if they had $$$ to give me so I can push up the date! (That shut them up!) Enjoy your time planning, and do not let anyone tell u it is too early to do anything, the earlier you go the better the prices u get and also you get first pick of the top vendors. Congratulations to all 2005 ! It will be here before you know it.

Hi Fellow2005ers!
I am not really new to these boards, (I was engaged to the wrong person), but now I've found Mr. Right and I'm back Our wedding date is June 11, 2005 at Villa Lombardi's in Holbrook. It's all we've booked so far. We're looking to book our DJ and Photo/Video person shortly. Anyway, I look forward to getting to know you all.
Good Luck!

Re: 2005 Brides.....
Just wanted to let you guys know, my FI, parents and I went to the tasting at Leonard's yesterday afternoon. They were very attentive. The tasting really consisted of the cocktail hour food; the main dishes were not served, although, he did tell us he could arrange this for FI and myself on a weeknight. Well, the food was really very good, my father and brother were loving it! The food is mostly northern italian. We really enjoyed it very much. We have one other place we are going to look into, I think (Manor East) and then make our decision by next month. Now its time to talk to the Priest and start getting this show on the road! Now this is really starting to feel REAL
