People that aren't even engaged yet are telling me they will get married by August 2004!

Just think, we have 'plenty of time' to plan and take advantage of 2003/2004 prices. It'll be here before we know it!

can we post the list of 2005 weddings again! i cant belive there so many of us. i felt like i was the only with such a long wait. we know 6 couples who have gotten engaged after billy and i and they are all getting married before us

Oh, don't worry, we will have all the time to focus on the DETAILS. We will be able to book early and sit back and enjoy the few months before the wedding! Now, how mant brides can say that? Well, WE CAN!

I feel like the extra time is going to help out financially as well. We have booked just about all the vendors with the exeption of Limos and flowers and we do not have to make any more payments until 6 months before the wedding. That gives us plenty of time to sock money away and as prncssrachel said, we have time to focus on details. This site is very addicting and it's great to know that all us 2005ers will keep each other company!

Why do people keep asking me why I am waiting so long to get married?:EMO4
I like the fact if I could have at least 1 year to plan and that we have the $$ to cover this. I almost feel like I am doing something wrong when people say its a long time.
Just venting, I'm sure I'm not the only one who hears this

Did any 2005 brides decide on their halls?? Let us now so we can put it down on the list!

Just checking in to say hello and to welcome all the new 2005 brides How is everybody's planning coming along? So far we reserved our hall and met with the priest at our church to reserve our ceremony time. Next we plan to start looking into photo./video. I'll keep you posted.

Well girls...I am no longer a 2005 bride....FI and I booked Leonard's for July 25, 2004!
They gave us a really great price so we went with it. Now I have only 351 days to do EVERYTHING!!!!!!!!!!!
LOL...I am a little nervous, but I'm ok with this. I better get moving though...I only have the hall and the Church booked.

White-wolf, Congrats on picking a date...even if it isn't in 05! You're always welcome here with us 05ers, we'll make you an honorary 2005 bride!
