Right now I'm working on an officiant and videographer. We pretty much have the band and the photographer so far. What are you up to?

Re: 2007 CARLTUN BRIDES THREAD
Have you contacted any of the Carltun recommended photographers/videographers? I visited Creative Compositions in January. (FM me if you need their info.) However, I have not contacted Jovan and Marquee yet.
My planning is slow moving because I live in the DC area. (I used to live in NY and hope to move back before or after the wedding.)
Congrats!!!!!!!

Actually my mom has used Creative Compositions for a few things. I think that they are great. So we will probably use them- I was thinking of getting a separate videographer, I haven't seen any yet. Good Luck with your planning too!

I actually decided to use Len Marks for photography and I'm looking to pay a bit less for videography than Creative Compositions charges. Good Luck!!!

One of my friends told me to look at these two videographers:
and they are supposed to be good but on the less expensive side. i totally agree with you about the price of the CC videography.

Re: 2007 CARLTUN BRIDES THREAD
Hello... I've already booked photographer, videographer and DJ. I looked at Jovan and Creative compositions from the Carltun list and I loved Jovan but they were too expensive.. so we booked Duet for both photo and video. We looked at all the Dj's on their list and we booked Platinum Productions.
I'm planning on starting my dress search next month!!
Good idea with the Carltun thread.. there aren't too many of us.

Danacm80 Congrats on booking the photographer and DJ!! I have to see what king of price Creat. Comp gives me and also what their wedding stuff looks like. They did 2 bar/bat mitz vahs for my family so we'll see.
Good Luck with the Dress search!

Re: 2007 CARLTUN BRIDES THREAD
JNELSON----- creative compositions was pricey.. they had very nice work though and i think the most extensive album selection out of all the places i went to... (we went to 8 photographers) They had all different packages... but most were out of our budget for both photo & video. Their style also seemed more posed to me... but it all depends on the style your looking for.... Good luck!!
Any other 2007 Carltun brides out there????

Yay...I love this thread!!! It's so helpful to compare notes with our wedding dates so close together!!!
Wow...Danacm80...you have so much done! if possible, FM me with the info for Jovan and Platinum Productions.
JNELSON - I'll FM you the info I have from Creative Compositions. Good luck getting a better deal! I bet you will make some progress...they must have some wiggle room with their high prices.
Ciao bella brides!!!

Ladies I am crashing your board.
Went to the Carltun yesterday for my tasting and it was better than I expected. They gave us two salads to try, Filet Mignon, Chicken, Sea Bass and Salmon followed by the best chocolate cake and coffee...
it was fabulous...the Presentation and portions....
The Filet Mignon was a very decent size...which I was a little surprised....it was a 5 star restaurant dinner...
you have nothing to fear!!!!

Re: 2007 CARLTUN BRIDES THREAD
Oh wow... you're having both??? awesome... We negotiated to have them throw in the extra course. We'll probably choose the pasta since we are 100% italian and everyone will be looking for pasta... haha I heard though that the Carltun's presentation of the intermezzo is really nice too though.... I guess I'll request a tasting of both before we choose.
